We were only able to do the xp task free in the first place because Scopely basically made all the syndicate xp research you'd already done prior to level 56 almost redundant by increasing the requirements for each level tenfold.

Ops is only part of the problem, the biggest issue is the assumption we have the building at our ops appropriate level, unless you've thrown wads of cash at it you dont. As a 71 I can still only kill 1 66 hostile per hull or farm the 59's.

Ohh I know but the majority of events are basically automated at this point and its just the artwork they change (though they sometimes forget to change the artwork 😂 ). It would take a manual calculation to work out the best scoring mechanic for F2P and the F2P don't pay Scopley employee's to do that, sooooo we get events that are out of sync with the majority of the population constantly.

I think that's the thing. It's not the best 'idea' overall. The buffs don't make sending away 2 ships when you're active worth it. The rewards are 'ok' I suppose, after you do them for a while.

If it's a higher tier in Khan's Favor, it wants you to have X epic officers at rank 5 (ie. maxed) before you can do the last tiers of research.
