You don't. Tier 11/12 and level 55 is the max you can go on forbidden tech (the Whip isn't unique). Presumably if they ever add a 5* Q-Trial it would open us up to upgrading further.

it's not new. it happens every arc part1. the hostiles are designed to be harder so they can sell the solution in part2. every part 1 arc, the average players with everything not maxed have to drop down 10 lvls from their ops to defeat any new enemy introduced.

Here's my thing about having a bunch of battle passes: Even without unlocking the elite path, its extra stuff you wouldn't be getting otherwise. Is the main issue that it getting too busy in the season pass section?

My complaint re: the battlepass proliferation is that, for the Ferengi pass, it is event store currency that used to be in the main pass. In order to maximize event currency you now need to pay for two passes instead of one.

hey @heady moon can you raise the sourcing on mirror uhura with the team? all the other mirror officers have multiple sources but she is ONLY available in terran store, and only at 3 shards a day (plus some one-time bonuses), so if you haven't been pulling her this whole time (I was using my uncommon terran credits for premium mirror dust and favors) will take quite some time to rank her up

the other mirror officers are available in officer depot but Uhura isn't

The loops are made to bring benefits after many years, but 2 years after the release, lots of officers/techs will ve considered legacy.

If you can't overnight it due to all of them being occupied, it's actually detrimental to my overall remaining gameplay hours
My 2 best ships are tied up and I can't do anything else
Meanwhile I still have to grind out things like rare transogen cannisters daily because for whatever reason you can only get them in high hazard systems and I have to send out my ship for half an hour daily to just die after 4 hostiles (which do 5% of my hull dmg) every single day to keep up with the dang single pulls

Oh yeah there are certainly flaws, it really should be shortened, even just reducing it to 1 hour would help a lot in that regard. My comment was more aimed at "it's flawed but the bar is so low this year I feel it is by no means the worst arc"

If you do get that Akira you’re going to have a rough go of upgrading it to where it’s useful. You gotta realize this game is a marathon not a race and the best way to be successful is to always be thinking ahead and pacing.

Nice, making progress there. As for the move through the DTI itself, the T9 akira will be more durable, but only 3/4ths the damage. It should be a little better, but the gap you need to cover is pretty far. And it'll cost you months of mats in building development.

For more short-term development options:
Unlock the cloak for entD and max Sloan's Cloaked Countersurveillance node. You'll be using a cloak before every krenim IE fight.
Push officer development: Kim + NovaSquadron nodes, and Paris/wBones for lower deck mitigation.
