Zero reason outposts can t be permanent. Throw a small daily drip,of starts in refinery. 100 a day or such. Once a week on average. And let them stay.

It's broken by design so people that want to progress faster will have to pay for it so it does happen sooner then for others that run it when the Outpost events last. I mean i can't tell you anything else that you would take as an "yeah, i get it" .

plus it will even take ages till g6 will be able to get g6 materials from the normal claim

Best course of action is punch up as high as you can for the max amount of building mats. Often. The occasionally, step down to where you can use loot crew and go the distance until you have enough for your pulls for awhile. Then keep pushing high even if you die on the first few hostiles

In 1 round fights, freeman wins but multiple rounds it's more even. 100% shots plus 130% cascade should win over 120% shots in Rd 1, rd2 its 240% but does that actually make up for the lack of that 130% cascade and already being hammered super hard in Rd 1 I don't think so.

Need some advice from ops 51+ players. When you jump into G5, does your revenant still produce options for token turn in for G4 mats, same with GS31. How critical is it to get the Ceritos, Eviscarator, Titan, and Talios before hitting G5? (Close on most, have all the other specialty ships, T12 Enterprise-A, T9 Cube)

The cerritos is handy for hitting up. Titan-A is also handy (but long run to upgrade, I'm tier 10 in it).

Talios is not critical either.

My GS31 refinery still has G4 ship parts in it as well.

I think that the real question for you is how hard are your FKR daily hostile kills going. If you're struggling hitting up from there, bake a bit more with your research. If you're killing them easily, then go ahead and ops up.

Anyone have any idea what the point of the Outposts is supposed to be? As far as I can tell there is some rewards from the refinery, but the outposts themselves dont keep the upgrades from one run to another and seem pointless beyond the refinery rewards.

Outposts have rewards when you beat them and during waves. Those lead to permanent boosts too.

About that QA testing you guys apparently do? I'm pretty sure at this point, the only testing done is to make sure it doesn't fully break the game on release. So much was wrong on release, and now still that the massive rush to get new content out is really starting to look so poor on the dev team.

Outpost still bugged doing the same thing now as a couple days ago you start the attack with ship 1 but ship 2 can't join so you probably won't be able to kill all of the 72 retaliation ships reported problem when it happened the first time didn't get starter directive back just reported the problem again but not really expecting to get directive back despite the fact that because of the bug i won't be able the get as much rewards cause i only got 1 ship in . scopely not doing anything to fix it apparently
