Am I missing something. I am ops 53 and a person who’s ops 56 claims he’s received majority of bps toward a Rotarran from DTI formation victory chest pulls. (Like 300+ bps) I’ve been double pulling that same chest since I’ve been in the 50s and I only have like 160 bps total over all rare/epic g5 ships combined from those chests. They’ve also been g5 for about a month longer than me.

Or are they capping. Cuz 1. That chest takes 7 days to cycle. And 2. that same person received the 3rd faction addition to rep chests after me

I was discussing that with someone here yesterday who liked the 5 minute cooldown as it meant the temporary buffs last longer. As you only have them while outpost is active.

I’ve enjoyed the outpost stuff. It’s been a nice puzzle working out the best way to play it and I’m still refining my crews with each attempt. I like arcs where it isn’t too simple. I enjoy sitting on arc launch day trying to figure it all out and how I should be playing it. I enjoy the puzzle of it more than sitting grinding excessively. I don’t do that either btw 🤣🤣

The appeal of the squall for me is the previously pay only artifacts and another source of sigma speedups. When you hit g6 and it costs 1.5m lat for a one day speedup, things like that suddenly become your new best friends

Vindi could have been a great ship, it gets quite strong and handles 70 content, but only those that get it early enough can grow with it so it's useful on the way up. A lot of the older players will find the GS31 grows much faster and overtakes it before vindi's ready.

Ultimately, these Out-posts aren't a bad idea, but there are two obstacles that make them very annoying! We need to double the number of them per server and reduce the latency between fights from 5 to 2 minutes, which currently lasts only one second!

refits can be useful, but have to be accesible a few ops before you can build the actual ship. otherwise the delay of aquireing the parts to building the ship is too great

I kinda agree, it feels too long. But others have argued that the buffs you invest in during the outpost battle will disappear at the end of it. Lower times means less time to benefit from the buffs for the rest of your fleet and you’ve spent currency on them. Unless they could still run for a designated period of time after the outpost assault ends

These Outpost runs are terrible. On my server there is not one single location open. All are taken up and the timers to wait are super long. What a fail. Got whales sniping people waiting in line. Need more than 3 systems to start this off in and need to reduce the timers between attacks!

Basically, they could use the concept of an outpost station to build a new STFC 2. It wouldn't be reliant on the overburdened station we have now, and they could rebuild the code to improve the experience. Hyperinflate the stats enough and in a few years, they could give away STFC ops 80 stations away for free.

The issue for me with the idea of having a ship specifically for Outposts is that going on their track record.....War room being weekly now its once a month, Chimera being biweekly now its once a month if we're lucky.....would be hard to invest in a ship thatll potential only be useful in 2 years and then only work once a month.

I can't finish a 53 either, but you get the Outpost Control Cores from just beating the actual outpost, not from the following ships. I can only get through about 30 waves but the rewards are WAY better than bashing a 51 and winning through it all.

@atomic notch if the klingon outpost does 6% hull damage per turn...how is anyone supposed to defeat it ever? Even if you had 3 ships and was 1 rounding everything. That is 17 retaliations to kill each ship. You could only survive to 51....

This is just beyond broken.
