the issues with the new event task is that the frist lock the dmg on building. to make us all happy. then the push out a task based on ops lvl. what makes no sense. hence nobody will get that 4 shards and a banner

eviscerator max, rev max, relativity and GS31 are close to max
Vindi was prettymuch made obsolete by GS31 about only thing it had going for it was the built in hazard resist, it's so slow to tier that it's not really useful vs armadas unless you spend $1000 tiering it up
well the ship itself is, the Vindi refinery is still slightly useful
being main source of FC Sloan and Lorca SP

I think the only ship slower to tier than Vindi is Discovery
they gave Vindi 18 tiers and without prime & buying parts from arc stores it STARTS at about a month a tier and gets slower from there
even WITH tier 1 of the efficiency prime and the efficiency exocomp and buying parts from arc stores my Vindi is only tier 11 after like 10 months
I bought Vindi when I was like a month or two into the game and I outgrew it a couple months after because it tiers so slow
I'm already ops68 with g6 rare and matching cube
I mean I guess if I wanted to kill 100 solo g6 uncommons in a row vindi might be useful for the hazard resist
but that's about it
they keep making all the other new solos invading entities so half of Vindi's kit doesn't work vs them

it's still not bad advice, you just need to apply it to other areas until your team gets up to doing those. And once you level out what you can do on poly's the t3-t4 guys need to zip up there NX-01 and start that level while you carry them and get their ships up higher faster.

I dunno in my case it's caused latency issues to go away sometimes so it apparently at least makes it take a different route
may add latency but avoid packet loss from a bad route
either way several times it's made the flashing yellow connection indcator go away 🤷♂️
at the very least you're changing the route of the last hop between you and the servers
so yes it may technically add more latency but if your normal route is getting extreme latency or packet loss for some reason, it seems to help
under ideal circumstances no it wouldn't help, it only helps when there's a connection issue going on
and the issue isn't the server itself but rather some node on the internet between you and the server
using a VPN can force it to take a different route bypassing that node
sometimes it also helps when I'm installing games- sometimes it doesn't, depends on the server but I've had it get me a couple hundred extra mbps (I have 2gig fiber connection but most game stores can't deliver 2 gigs)
I think I've seen microsoft store (xbox app) and steam come close to maxxing out my connection sometimes, never on EA or Epic games

Is this game now nothing but a cash grab? Because at this point it’s beyond ridiculous. Events are basically impossible to finish unless you pay. That’s not “challenging,” that’s extortion.
I have to buy an upgrade pack for the Recon Locus or grind for hours like a robot—do you think players don’t have lives outside your game? It feels like you’re deliberately forcing us to spend just to keep up. Events should be completable for everyone, not just for people dropping hundreds of euros.
And AMS? Forget it. With a 22-man alliance and only 17 active, we’d reach the moon faster than completing it. Did anyone at Scopely even think this through?
Raiding isn’t worth it anymore—my phone overheats faster than I can collect loot. Progression now costs €600–€700 just to stay competitive. That’s insane. Check Discord and content creators’ reviews: players everywhere are fed up. The goodwill is gone.
If this keeps up, you’re not building a community—you’re driving away loyal players until only a handful of whales are left. At that point, STFC won’t be about Star Trek or its legacy anymore, just about who’s willing to burn the most cash.
Fix this before you burn your own house down. The patience of your player base is gone. @heady moon @queen jolt

Morning Scopely! For the avoidance of doubt, I've been playing the game for the past 5-6 years, and I'm pretty confident that the current 3-day hostile grind is the worst / most grindy hostile event I've ever seen in the game. Was this what the feedback asked for? 😂

I bought ONE building pack and am able to do the heroics at ops 68, takes about 200 kills with the free PT from building lv51 equipped, farming lv59s
for 70s though yeah you gotta whale if you wanna do the heroics or kill 500+ hostiles

But my building isn't quite 40 so I can take out like 2 or 3 a trip

With roughly 50 trips
A heck of a lot more doable than what they want you guys doing for some of your bigger sms' but 50 trips for the event is insane

2k points needed roughly and 21 points per lvl 59 ag enemy
That's about 100 kills and at one or two a trip that's around 50 trips

Its 32 trips, but the time it takes is the same as 16 so much less effort and time spent.
I mean as far as loops go its very low effort. The heroic sms are just annoying.

If you can, try getting the dolamide and use it for the ship parts or mat prime if you can get enough.

Then theres the GS31 research if you unlocked it already and i guess premium mirror research and FC Lorca. I guess those give the most. Also if you have exchange tokens you can get epic gas traded from crystal and ore. And exchange rare ship parts if youve unlocked the favor from s31 faction store.

I cant remember at which point you need to max buff and use PMT rather than PMC. But for me there was one trial on each of the three that just wouldnt go through with PMC. After that pmc and no buffs was super easy all the way to finish.

Use PMC. Hit it no buff. Then swap Chen for cath/tlaan whichever is higher. One will go more rds. Buff that one fully. Max titan, etc

Not many buildings seem to be able to go past the ops level but I do know around 19 it's possibly to get some stuff to lvl 20 before being ops 20 (im pretty sure that's the ops I'm thinking of that does that I know at some point it let's you pass your ops for certain buildings )
