Unfortunately that is not new. That is hazard zones. It happens all the time and slamming hundreds of people into hazard zones to mine and grind was a recipe for disaster. They are horrible at best of times in terms of ship movement, not warping, lag, etc. It basically does a calculation every 5 seconds to apply the hazard so accumulate that by the thousands of ships and I am guessing the servers are burning.

I'm aware but looking at them I haven't the foggiest where I'd find the RL time, the isogen one would take me 8 hours of actively mining trellium D and I doubt that trell A will be much better. Not entirely impossible over the span of the days but seems like a rather high amount. The transogen miner event on the other hand seems literally impossible unless I pay to upgrade the building.

Ok so this entire arc is to introduce a new resource that no one asked for. A resource that's a pain to mine because it's is hazard zones with a Hunter ships. A resource that sole use is to level up a single building. A resource that has level caps and different rarities. A resource that the Hunter ships and only(so far) the Hunter ships drop, a different version of used in the same refinery.
All to power/level up a building with buffs that I defy you to explain have anything to do with that building besides the increasing the mining rate of the resource. A building that for some unrelated to the buffs acts as a secondary artifact store. And lastly a building that has a research button that does nothing because it seems there's no tree anywhere. All I found was a prime in the Starpath tree.
Again, Scope hiring people to make content for a game they do not play.

With the hazards I can do about 800k rare, 600k unc or 1.4M common per hour. So this adds up to about 7 hours of daily uninterrupted mining. Add on top the protected on the Selkie is roughly 300k and all the travel time you can easily add 50% on top. Don’t you think it’s a bit too much? And I’m not even talking about the 303m mining event target, that one’s obviously unrealistic

A lot of of these events are basically heroic even though they aren't labeled as such. If you're missing a prime, or a ship is not leveled up enough, it will be extremely difficult to do. This arc so far has a lot of pressure for people to spend if they're missing stuff
