Adding a dps exo to a regular ship wouldn't hurt, depending on the ship and the levels of your ships.

Its only the alliance the established rouge joins into that will also become rouge to the rest of the server, abiding by the "rules". But if said rouge player who left breifly only to return back to their previous alliance..might cause some controversy.

Within my server pre merged with defeated opponent, we did have a whale go rouge and return back to 1 of the alliances they created and/or allied with, with Zero repercussion. So it can be situational; from what I've seen.

This is what I'd consider breaking tos-watching multiple whales and players be "pushed out" unless ive perceived it incorrectly. Its not necessarily a forever hobby to game. . . . ?

What you are discussing is basically server politics. There's no UN or galaxy police to enforce player-created rules, so unless everyone can agree on things, its a wild west environment of survival of the fittest.

The built-in 'punishment' for players who go 'rogue' is that they will grow slower being in a 1-person alliance. While they fly around blowing up ships (mostly miners lol) you likely will grow far faster than them actually completing events and loops.

The way it is on our server is if they go rogue, and then they go back to their alliance, then that alliance is responsible for whatever they did when their member rogue. So that's when war is declared. Not when they go rogue, but where they go after.

Or

We simply kos that player. Instead of waring with their alliance, that person is permanently kill on sight no matter what alliance they join in the future.

The bulk refine feature from what I see, is a local setting. I have to set it on both mobile and PC separately. It also resets if you tier up certain ships, gain ops level, or building level

If people fail to shield on my server, they usually get kicked out of their alliance and raided before the event starts. If you aren't out of your territory, and you are sitting there unshielded, you get drained before they even start. Although some people still screw up though. Last incursion we had a whale go unshielded which cost us the incursion, but they got kicked out of their alliance afterwards

We just kicked three people out of our alliance early this morning and drained their bases because they didn't leave the territory last night

Oh we have 2 or 3 whales that throw every time, my server bickers about he said she said garbage to do anything. Heck 1 guy posted his own cords a couple incursions ago and bled 1qd and his alliance acted like they can do no wrong

The events themselves aren't the problem, but the total number of things we are asked to kill. A single event shouldn't really require much over 50 in my opinion

When you have things start piling up into the hundreds, that's when it can take you two, three, four hours to do it, and a lot of people just don't have that time

Oddly enough, the lower numbered servers still have a decent population like us/na 1-30

But some of them have some very bizarre ROEs with some being super strict and not allowed to raid a base to a complete wild West

Our RoE is essentially that if you aren't the #1 alliance then you aren't allowed to do anything but be bullied by the one whale with a massively inflated ego but if you're in the #1 alliance then RoE doesn't exist

The top 3 to 4 alliances on my server all have lvl 70s a varying strength. With a biiiig 70 in each. So there's 3-4 dominate alliances on my server. Most of us in the top four share similar ROE, so wars between us are rare, but they do happen.

We do have a rogue alliance with some 70s, but they can't be everywhere all of the time., and they are highly disorganized and unfocused

I usually get my miners popped once or twice every 24 hrs, but it's cheap to repair, and I just sent them back out. Most people hit a system, move on, and don't look back.

I wish, we only have 2 70s and both of them are in the same alliance. When the one isn't bot farming exiles in his cube the other uses his t13 velox and sweeps UPC cause rules don't apply to them

And then fortunately there's not much you can do about those people on your server because there's no one strong enough to stand up to them

We actually had someone like that five or so years ago on our server. He spent $75,000 to $100,000 to be the first person to level 30, and then to 40, and he would just go around terrorizing the entire server on a whim.

He stayed the dominant player right up until Covid, and then his business went bankrupt, and then he could no longer afford to be the top person on the server. So he quit 2 -3 years ago.

He spent so much money that the devs named a star system after him

Anything galaxy needs to be docked, anything combat is fine to use outside of dock is the rule of thumb, you can overwrite a galaxy before it expires while out of dock however and it will continue to apply

The problem I've noticed with Tiger arcs, is that 4-5 months down the road we'll enjoy the content due to the great rewards but it feels abysmal right now unless you bought the ship. It's not even his fault cause his bosses probably won't "sign off" on his arc designs without the absurd amount of currencies to gatekeep all the rewards. But the same idea happened with Xindi, we weren't big fans of it on launch but after we all got the ship and actually got the loop going with the ship we were fine. I kinda wish that it didn't take 3+ months for a new ship
