If you mainly just want credits id advise dropping down to the lvl58 MU traders. The credit drops between 58 and 60 is almost identical but you'll be able to kill a lot more 58s, so more chests = more credits per run.

The proc rate on the loot goblins 30% insta kill:

Just because you, or a bunch of players you know, have had 'bad rng' does not mean the proc rate is something else besides 30%.
Each time you hit is a different action. Any action prior has no bearing on the current action. Even if you get killed 5 straight times, and yes that is a low % of happening, that does not mean the proc rate is different.
Anecdotally you can find just as many players who get to kill way more than 7 out of 10... and those are just as unlikely as getting killed 5 straight times.

You would need at least 10000 tests to prove the proc rate accurately.

May I suggest, as I step out of my wheelhouse for a moment, and into psychology..... that you remember for longer the outliers that are negative more and longer than you remember the outliers that are positive.. idk what term psychologists use to describe this... but I know its a thing....

So, for all of you who feel you are getting bad RNG on the loot goblins... follow Dory's advice.. and 'Just keep swimming'... it will even out over the long term.

And then there is the Reliant... that makes the whole thing moot...

there are several of those so called faction locks when it comes to reputation, all it does is becoming your new minimum. at first thats 2m negativ, later on 10m positive, 1b, 15b, 500b

Well performance issues are rather odd, as it can involve a lot of parties, not the least your ISP and even the device you're using to play. Pinning down the exact thing is tough.

As you said, lag/slow responses is something though, I have noticed that around server reset, things tend to get laggy, yet not always and not with everything.
