Well the captain ability of Carol Marcus is 150% to the loot drops in the arc, and that doesn't even count for when she's paired with bridge officers. From what I read from the description, I don't think she affects faction.

Max difficulty is challenging for maxed G6 epics. Smallest ship I saw was fully buffed T16 Krencha surviving with like 1mm hull.

Here’s the problem, they can claim the issues started Thursday, but the reality is they have been occurring since Tuesday, when the arc went live.

I don't think we're going to get out of all these problems until they realize that the new loops are at the heart of it. they know that putting too many people in the same systems causes problems (just ask territory def/cap). they know that putting too many people in the same system with speed crews causes problems (just ask the arena). so what did they do, they designed new loop grinds that take hours on end with everybody on every server stuck (for the most part) in the same 3 systems. they may already see this which is why they put a regular little hostile hunt in the EE event yesterday instead of that absurd all day grind that was there when the arc started. who knows.

If you want to, but what you need to take into account is running out of resources and latinum if you plow through it all too quickly. I use one slot for a long term build/research and another slot for things I don't want to wait for.
