The chest also contains points for the Vindicator sms to help complete it to T3. But those are not visible, so Scopely has to add something into chest - a 5 min speedup, a 25 lat, or whatever tiny item - so it would not look like you opened an empty chest. It is not ideal solution, but generally when you see a chest with some tiny amount of item like this one, check if somehow some sms also completed at same time

• missions are a good one-shot source of credits; be careful that you're not setting yourself back on rep grinding by doing them though

With that said, the performance was abysmal last month since it returned to all servers on the same day instead of spread across three. I think the real length of the battle can be anything - 0,5s, 1s, 3s... as long as it does not go over the 5s animation. If it goes over the 5s animation, then you see the battle taking longer than it should. So what they were saying is that the change helps with resolving the battles on server side faster, so you will not be getting that super long animations over 5s battle as often

There are many aspects of this game that are simply going to be slow/non-existent without an alliance as a FTP or low spend player. There is still TONS to do in the game for the FTP players, including those with no alliance, but its not a valid expectation to be able to get and do everything free and solo - or within a desired timeline. Jellyfish took me two years to source, as an example.

Does scopely overcharge? a HUGE yes. But, are they going to cater to those that pay the bills? Another big yes there. There are strategies to get the most you can free in this game - one huge component of most those strategies is joining a solid alliance and staying in it. I dont envy the solo FTP players position in this game. Without an alliance I would have shelved it a long time ago 🤣

It's doable. Need FC Janeway and a lot of the Q researches done there. And then Cerritos and Titan-A maxed and their researches maxed. Then get the right crew (have fun!) and ship. Then you can knock out 2-3 per max fortify. Wait a few days and do it again, if doing it solo, or chain fortifies if doing it with an alliance mate.

Cant just hit any Xindi with any ship. Need to use a ship with lower mitigation stats and hit lower lvl xindi. You need them to kill your ship in rnd7.

Only bonuses alliance wide are the module boosting rep gains towards alliance rep, the module that boosts damage towards cardassian armadas, and the module that boosts loot from cardassian armadas, the rest of the modules only boost the starbsse itself.

Check the log for the dmg from each ship. The Relativity is probably doing more dmg but dying really fast.

So either give the Rela more survivability or give it PBG to just massively increase it's dmg further and stick a different crew on the Corvus.
