Because they can't math correctly and their answer is to exempt it. There's a few cases where a debuff was given that applied to all opponents and when they didn't restrict it it was applied to the attacker by every single ship in the dock (x8) AND by every turret on the base (x8) thus doing fun things like zeroing out all crits, stripping all crit chances, and more recently removing all isolytic damage.
So now debuffs don't apply in station defense by default. But offensive skills do, like crit chance buffs for yourself.

I mean I refuse to spend for this stupid event, but if I were to spend I’d be more likely to spend if I could get all three acquire mats at once. But that isn’t their plan. you can mitigate damage in pvp as well... there your apex barrier can be many times higher... you dont even need a max data, all you need is the correct ship enemy and the right rare MU officer as captain
oh yeah, and you can meet another player doing the same over and over and over, usually such events are almost always cheated by some guys

Well the problem for the 66's is warp. I have to have the warp CT to make it.. I don't think the G5 epics can do it with the relativity, but I could be wrong

you can use the vindi refinery stuffs for vindi parts, and the fusion rods can already be pulled daily, the amount on offer is IMO not worth sacrificing vindi upgrades
