There's absolutely a cutoff point. The loot boxes on 68/70 appear to be the same, but the FKR rep is doubled. So if you can do a round of 70s, it's worth it. If you can't, the 68s are still great.

Can somebody tell me why there is a hostile limit? Still with the artifact provided by scopely? There's no reason for a limit? As a matter of fact, I think scopely believes the more time we have in the game the more opportunity there is for us to spend. So please tell me why there is still a limit and if you have a good reason then put away on the screen somewhere to count how close we are to getting to that limit. If I were to wager a bet, it would be that it's an anti-botting tactic, given you can grind resources.

It's high enough most people won't hit it, but low enough that bots would have a hard time farming.

The daily kill limit was put into place at a time where whales had just ascended, and the most aggressive of them were rep farming with older loot ships. Some had built several Pilum and were rapidly climbing in rep, and a fast pace would be bad for income. If rep growth was slow, each of the ship steps could be milked (uc, r, e). But if players could max rep very quickly, then they could skip all of those and only buy epics.

Could it be a coincidence? sure, but the timing was too good for me to believe otherwise.

Anyway, once you know the limit exists, it's really easy to avoid. Just don't afk farm, it's a low value return anyway.

This grand reveal shows that it's exactly previous tournaments (same tasks, same reroll system that's bugged) but you added a few additions to the store and removed cooldown on 2 items. That's it.

Store Updates - 10/10 - Full marks.

SMS / RALB - 3/10 - Understand the idea behind it, but I can't see the value both in the amount of officer shards or the potential AT store pay out (I am sure there will be metrics that state otherwise)

The actual SMS that is needed is a participation one, complete 15 tasks of any reward (Ok, maybe 12 to allow for errors and bugs) and get the rewards for a 10k task. This would help all alliances to push smaller players to participate fully with grinder tasks and really isn't a huge amount to give away

I've found it to be pretty solid when grinding hostiles. In solo waves, it seems to get stuck a lot. Ships don't move. A game reset clears it, but that's not ideal in the middle of a wave.

I just did a solo wave... twice I killed a hostile really close to the station... but I managed to kill it before it hit the station because both times my ship engaged the target in combat and survived... and yet both times the station lost a health point... @silver parcel there was no combat AT the station... it happened twice ... once in wave 4 when I managed to catch the hostile comming from south west last second - but my ship engaged in combat and defeated the hostile... the hostile was not in combat with the station... yet the station lost a health point... was so distracted by this that I let another hostile through and it hit the station for real... so that was the second health point it lost... this time sort of justified because the hostile actually hit but only because of the distraction the previous bug caused me... and then in wave 5 I knew in advance one of my ships was gonna die... so I sacrificed it to delay a hostile and buy a little time... then sent another ship to kill that hostile after it killed it's two primary targets... wasn't sure it was gonne win though so I sent my last ship in between the station and where the second fight against that particular hostile took place - so that fight was actually FAR away from the station compared to the first issue... but it turned out my last ship wasn't needed as the second fight against this hostile was a victory... but then the station again lost a health point wrongfully and I was fed the rewards and points for wave 4

and I have 29 battle reports from that wave that say "VICTORY" to prove it

you can't fail in wave 5 with 29 hostiles defeated when there are only 30 and you win if you miss 2
