well there is a roadmap for 2025.. but unlike a real roadmap that has timelines and milestones set to dates to determine how you are tracking to the roadamp.. this one does not... but having said that, the 'roadmap' we get is not the same as an internal roadmap... they really should rename it from 'roadmap' to 'things we will maybe release in the next 12 month, or not release'

G6 is awful, man. Plain awful.
Hazard, warp restrictions, material sourcing + no scrapping, barely any content, specialty ships worthless & outdated, you're gradually cut out of older content like cosmic particles, G4 rare parts from Gorn refinery & so much more.

The worst thing they did was ascending past G4 and G5 after only 4 months each and allowing players into 61 without a fully fledged G5 epic. Almost a death sentence for casuals.

but if you go ops 51 plus you have to compete in events against people ops 70 so you can kiss your officer shards and Syndicate rep etc good bye.

I see people on my server ops 56 with Syndicate rep levels of 35 becasue they cant win or score high on events where as me holding at ops 50 and scoring in events have now got my Syndicate rep at 46 and I only started playing the game again a year ago and had to play catchup on all this from my level 38 account. Syndicate exp is from more than just events, and those are a small part of a player's income these days. Just the DTI store alone can provide me with over 70k a day. Camping for events that pay out syndicate exp is a waste when so much of it is available outside of them.

53 is the top of that bracket and when the g5 uncommons unlock, you are immensely curbing any progress you are making by not picking at least one of the uncommons up bc it can absolutely carry you for your mid 50s

My 3 uncommons aren't even t6 just yet(I'm super close just stuck on rare arts story of my life 😂) and they annihilate practically everything up to lvl 60

Some specialty enemies and very few armadas(mainly stupid Krenim solos) put up a fight but overall very easy to camp at 53

Beyond 57 your score for events is gonna drop drastically bc enemies don't breach lvl 60 till you yourself are ops 61

Yes, you're going to lose that one if you move up a level. But they shouldn't be considered in isolation. This is the reward for 1st place of that SLB. It is less than one day's refine from a developed MU store. You'll find that certainly a few events here and there are guaranteed losses and that will need to be weighed against the entirety of income improvements from exchanges/refineries/"fair" events/free gifts/etc.

The choice to be strong for your level or to be strong is up to you. The game's not suddenly bad the instant you move to 51.
