ok so what is the secret to these chimera ??? I am ops 60... so I just attacked a level 60 chimera... survived - even killed it... I have therefore 700 points in the event where you score by spending the directives... so how is it that I got like 4400 loot plus 950 from the chest (which is ridiculously little) which gives my about 37k points on the salvage SLB... meanwhile a guy who has the same 700 points on the "spend directives - SLB" (meaning he also did only one chimera) has about 150k points on the salvage leaderboard????
what am I missing? what does one have to do to get good loot from these?

You can save your directives from several events or buy new ones. There is no other way to stay ahead in the SBL.

I did not, but my account was well developed, I ran loot crew all the time since when the Chimera started I did not have Gwen. But I see many players with much less developed accounts and officers to still struggle there. Since the directives are quite hard to get, it is better to be on the safe side - overbuff way too much on first, if it is easy use less buffs, if it is still easy use loot crew and Cerritos

There's a visual bug that will show you pushed out if you're lower power than the 6 that joined, but it will still only run with you + the highest powers, so someone will get booted, not you

Nah you got rewarded with the starter chest (gauranteed) and loot from the armadas loot pool gets divided based on participating power (bigger ship gets more loot)

You will initally ‘need’ a lv46 rare ship for the loot drop increase ship ability. Doesnt matter which, Pilum; Kori or Newton as it works the same for each. Usefull for rep and parts grinding. They can take you to 53

Yes. The system has a max object count and when you reduce things below that limit it triggers the spawn routine. There's a chance for that spawn to be a hostile or an armada.
Presuming any armada respawn timers have expired, and they're short for solos.

Reasonable expectations would be 53. If you plan and time properly and make sure you rep and credits ready they get you to 56.

@queen jolt @heady moon Solo waves BUGGED and BROKEN!! Hit points counter displays the amount from the last group wave I was in (20, instead of the solo wave 3), the banner with the timer till it starts just freezes the clock but doesn't disappear when you hit start... so all through the wave it's there and when you click even remotely in that area it will select the central station instead of a nearby hostile... MASSIVE hinderance to impossible to play like that!!!! After wave 5 ended and I killed the last hostile (letting through only 2 - one in wave 4 and one in wave 5) the central station exploded for no reason (no hostile was left alive). I got no reward screen and my ships didn't get ported back to base... when I look in the section 31 store I see that I received the loot for wave 4 completion instead of wave 5... On top of all that I was about to start a solo wave yesterday and then realized I had something more urgent to do so I pulled my ships from the solo wave system before I hit the "start" button to actually beginn the waves... I did not receive my 100 ciphers back... I opened a ticket and have no response other than the usual "we are looking into your case" ... THAT WAS 26h AGO!!!!!

maybe Capt B from Scopley was using the old non-DST clock to determine when the Q&A session was? I mean DST is complicated, as we can see from STFC, its not easy to line up events to happen at a consistent time when DST is involved. I know that other major companies, and smaller companies, often struggle with DST as well, just look at Bank of America, Walmart or the local convience store... its tough.
