The new update is still giving me some issues.
Lag is still bad.
Scrolling is really juddery and makes you feel a bit nauseous.
I’ve deleted and reinstalled the game (first time in years) which freed up like 9GB space. Cleared localisation etc. but no good. Help please 🙏

I think it certain can eat lat, but it doesn;t have to if you're prepared to be patient.

Moving up this fast it was implied that patience wasn't practiced here.
You can get past it quickly if you already had jellyfish scrapped (probably at least 2) but the crystal would still need to be waited on or brute forced

i rushed g5, not f2p and i certainly didn’t spend tens of millions of latinum on common mats doing it. spent more lat rushing research and builds tbh

seeing as I'm mid g5 with decent efficiency (not maxed for my level but fairly close) and many buildings require 20k common, equaling to 240k latinum, it's not that difficult to get to a high number
Most of my lat went to the countless research that used 3-5k common mats though

Yeah, as I said, I pushed almost right through g4 and into g5 in a month, which definitely did eat a lot of lat - probably about 20-25m to date, but a lot of that was speed ups rather than buying common mats

instructions unclear, half of my server went to g6 with t5 Ent-D's
they're getting bad advice from their alliance members would be my guess.
The extra g5 epic mats mean nothing if you can't do half of the content the game throws at you for your level
Anyway, still working on dolamide particles since a long time, almost all my efficiency is where it should be but the amount of rare/epic g5 mats needed for ships are a bit of a struggle.
Probably less a struggle than g4 rare ship parts in G4 though.
It's even worse in G5 instead of better.
Not sure how I'm ever maxing out a hegh'ta and tribune to scrap.

It’s my birthday in August. Last year I gave myself a g3 Ent for my birthday, this year I’m going for the Ent-D. Will the E be next year’s birthday present? Who knows, but my server doesn’t even have g6 yet

Definitely feels like g5 is more of a bridging level these days. G4 is where all the new content starts, and the game really opens up, G6 is the endgame (for now) and the switch to Sigmas, but g5 is just sort of there.

I know there were some players in my alliance who had enough time to have multiple g4 epics maxed before we got g5 ascension, and they were killing almost all g5 content with those ships, so there was a serious question of what new challenges there’d be in g5

At least G6 will be a new challenge, but only because G5 players can’t reach it!

eviscerator never pays out with less g4 parts, at T7 (iirc) it starts paying out common g5 parts on top of the same amount of rare/uncommon/common g4 parts
It's Voyager that loses the g4 payout at T8 or smth along those lines

Although Vindicator might be extra pointless since it barely offers any useful research

Evi is defo disco v2 and a life changer! you can help boost your lower players in alliance, plus perfect to do missions as more power then disco
NSEA makes MU super durable, without MU is not worth exploring at all. High enough NSEA you never have to visit MU anymore which is superb
Cerritos/Titan have daily uses, the Defiant most forget how it works 😄
Relavity (new ship) seems only use is for Krem only and boosting DTI store payouts so abit like NSEA in respect

I am curious. Despite repeated reports of someone who has declared war outside of our servers ROE and is now costing people money why scopely are not following up on this issue. The player concerned is capped at level 39, has gone rogue from his former alliance and has against ROE engaged in War with alliances he knows cannot defend themselves all for his gratification. Now many players on 202 are looking to quit because daily goals and events are not achieveable. The player concerned is Darth Rincey. The big boy alliances ignore him and he wont engage because they would spank him but for 50% of 202 our game playing is now not fun or achievable. When will scopely deal with this situation. Ask the 202 players what they think about this guy who is capped, bored and stopping players spending because he immediately makes them lose money

it's an individual's (sad) way of playing, there's always rotten apples in the basket
There are many servers where it's not an individual ruining the gameplay for others but instead an entire alliance (or even multiple)
Best way to probably deal with it is not give him attention, don't talk to that player, have eyes on his base at all times and hit any returning/outgoing surveys/non pvp crewed ships
And try to diplo with other alliances to work together, even if it's multiple smaller alliances working together you can achieve many things!
Lastly if your server's discord has some sort of senate, bring it up there

Then don't spend on the directives. Take extra ships to protect the armadas. You don't even have to be able to kill him, just keep him busy with realtas if you have to. If you've been locked at 39 with the server a year old, you should have plenty of people with maxed g3 epics, so just kill his ships.

player exhibits all the signs of a rogue, should get the rogue treatment.
For our server, that means nowhere is safe for them or you and you just starve the player until they behave.
When I say starve, I mean really starve.
Not letting the player do any events, armadas, mining, camp their base 24/7, make them feel that nowhere is safe.
Being in a solo alliance already makes the game a lot more expensive and cuts them off from a decent amount of content (territory, alliance tournaments, starbase research, formation armadas,...)
Eventually they end up having to buy packs to keep up and either lose interest or keep on desperately trying to justify their ways.

From them I've maxed the premium mirror research for my ops, unlocked the vindicator giving me Lorca SP daily, cut the cost of G3 and G4 ship BP, and reduced the cost of upgrading many old specialty ships by about 40%. I get 28k syndicate XP and 6k upgrade catalyst for FT every day for free.

That's a massive amount of useful stuff completely unrelated to PvP (as I ignore PvP outside arenas).
