Comparing this game and the things it does/doesn't do to other games never normally ends well for this game.

Anyone can confirm Masriad Vael working properly ? Mine gives 4% crit per being hit. Hostile shots 3 times per turn, that gives 12% crit per turn. Effect lasts 4 turns, so after 4 turn I upkeep +48% crit for the rest of the fight. Which should give me total of 60% crit. However in logs I don't see me critting that often.

It depends on the firing pattern of the hostile/armada
It will only trigger once per weapon, so hostiles with multiple shots on the same weapon will only give 4% per weapon
See screenshot. Weapon 1 fires 2 shots every round, but because it's the same weapon you get 4% boost from it in that round.
Weapon 2 fires 3 shots, but you also only get 4% boost because the 3 shots come from the same weapon in that round.

He has really limited value for people who have kept up on grinds ftp, let alone spenders.
People are finishing nx loop or are done with it so larger chest rewards really mean little from the aquatic enemies.

Kratu Frey rewards boosts is eh since people are encouraged to kill hundreds of them anyways and the hostiles are super weak, so any ship with Ghrush on bridge can farm up a couple sizes easily and for a long while.

Mirror loop really doesn’t have chest rewards they need more of, and again, people even ftp are finishing the research part of the loop, and even casual grinding can leave people with millions of the nsea space exchange stuff.

Doesn’t work on invading entity targets, krenim targets, or armadas.

He has really limited scope and very little use to a lot of people

And with the month long spend, players can take full advantage of all the events.
