I don't mind the impulse since my playstyle doesn't require it. But yeah, I did notice those tracking issues. Sometimes was difficult to predict / see where ships will meet for battle.
I didn't notice dropping out of attack command though. But I only use long attacks with Kir'shara for the surveys there. Those worked fine with it.

I had more comments further up … the performance was bad. Things were lagging, I was getting chased down by ships that should have had the same impulse I did, I missed a key armada because my ship never moved, targeting kept flaking out so the button would disappear before I could press it, and when modifying ships/crews in the staging area I kept getting flashing that would have been a real problem if I had epilepsy. The only “improvement” was that the ships weren’t rubber banding quite as much as before, but they were still doing it.

When i try targeting a ship and we have 275 impulse, there is a slight lag after they kill a target and because we are the same speed and it is capped we cant catch them, also when locked on to a player ship there were random dropped targets when we are moving. Especially when enterning an armada circle

And please also see my comment about the impact on impulse throttling. I understand the technical reasons for the change but yall have to understand you’ve taken away the only tool smaller players have against g6 whales, which was to bob and weave your way through the arena and try to outmaneuver them. If we’re all going the same speed, there is really nothing you can do tactically anymore except cross your fingers. This is going to have a significant negative impact on what was already a frustrating mechanic. I do like the concept and hope yall can address the issues but this really can’t be the long term fix

To clarify, my ships weren't near at reaching 275 impulse. They were in 200 to 230 region.
I think my squad also used other than speed tactics (designated targets, timed venom, luring to traps etc.) so we weren't suffering from issues possibly arising near 275 impulse.

Before the 1st shut down I did 20 Arenas and had to restart game 12 times during those. For 1 it didn't resolve the issue and I could never join.
Today I did 10 or 11 and didn't have to restart once. So for me it was a big improvement. Was practically unplayable before, so the big improvement was mandatory. But I feel like I got it.

One match the game crashed 3 times after a ship got locked in combat after being killed. But I do not think it is reasonable to whine about the time a test is run when we do not know what specifically the aim was, bearing in mind for the most part I accept that perception is otherwise, but Scopely are very good at a number of things and deciding when to run things to achieve the numbers they want to achieve is one of them.

One thing that I noticed is that they have a hard time doing consistent monthly events Ie incursions galactic invasions war room just to name a few. I think what they need to do is reevaluate what a monthly schedule looks like for events and come up with a better schedule to include all the previous content that they've made for Galaxy wide events. Cuz I think that it's important that everybody participates for the event and everybody has an opportunity to do it rather than just not be able to. @queen jolt

The keeping up loop isn't even the largest issue at the moment, the issue is they're getting added faster than we can unlock them. Give it another year and we'll see 2 new ships per month

it's only gonna grow. the norm used to be that f2p would be one specialty ship behind the whales. then it was 2. now it's 3. and they moved the f2p hostile grinds for getting the bps from 'reasonably accessible' to 'oh boy you best hope your ships/officers/research are right'.

tbh my main gripe is how unimaginative it all is. We expect Scopely to try and charge us to breathe at this point, but every new release is so uninspired. Everything is the same, there is zero innovation. It's almost laughable at this point, every time a new arc is released we can literally guess the format of the release, and we're usually bang on the money. New hostile part 1, new ship part 2. Same thing every single time.

The 67 quit maybe 3 months ago. He was trying to do a wave and the game crashed on him 6 times in a row.
The 69 left last month. He has been bored with the new arcs and annoyed by the pointless grinding. We have 3 other 65+ ready to take a long break if not quit entirely.

I believe this is the third time in a row that we have incursions without getting the full set of incursion prep events... instead we are getting a "compensation" gift chest that is supposed to give us the rewards we would be getting from the prep events... problem is: those rewards include the token to switch over to the opposing server during incursion - and the "compensation" chest contains only half as many as we would have gotten from the prep events (20 in the chest vs 40 from events) .... So what is the scopley-masterplan behind this? Why do they dry us out on these ... don't they want us to take part in incursions anymore?
