Eh, game has been on a steady decline that correlates really well to the number of currencies added over time.

Field training expansion is so old in its brokenness people have forgotten about it, for example.

Most loops have no actual end phase built into them, so you just earn currencies forever if you need one minor thing from the loop for some sort of exchange.
Things that would be (even more) beneficial now, like the ferengi whip, seemed to have suddenly dried up on dropping trials bells once people have unlocked all the FTs they could with those rare and epic shards it drops. Now people are just getting massive useless piles of shards and no trials bells.

Well they pooched arenas (which were working fine to me) the only fun part of the game, incursions are played out IMO the officers this month are very niche with no sourcing so will languish at t1 or maybe t2 not that it matters cuz paid chaos tech (Sorans trit) breaks PvP (again) still unaddressed is the endless clicking to collect everything from 18 refineries that takes 45 minutes its tiresome. Waves are barely functioning with lag also need to reset after everyone or you can’t join another one

Anyone knows how to get the new tasks after refresh? Some while ago was to wait for 5 minutes. Now it seems that application restart is the only thing that works to load new tasks. But it** takes ages to reopen, and after clicking on alliance tournament, sometimes it gets stuck with "Preparing..." or some Error message.**

On the other hand,** the shop refreshes constantly** and makes it very easy to** purchase something by mistake. **

I think they're just trying to rule it out, not making it a permanent thing. If they permanently reduced impulse speed, it would destroy 99% of all strategy and make it just the biggest ship wins.

It's a test and we can "blame" DJz for pushing it. 🤣 But really, there's a good reason for it. The question is if the server's processing is having trouble keeping up with the speed the game goes "these days" and it'll help them find the hot spots on the server to fix.

this has NEVER worked... not in the almost 5 years I have been playing this game - and you don't even have to go to arena ship to ship pvp for that matter... I remember in the early days when my ops was smaller and you would more often run the risk of being unshielded while online... I would ALLWAYS get the "station under attack" on screen warning AFTER my base has already been hit - sometimes about a minute after... and I wasn't the only one... happened to pretty much everyone who ever got hit... we wrote tickets about it BACK THEN!!!! and NOW they say they realize it??? So much for "we listen to the feedback of the players"...

Companies like Blizzard doing what they did/now do is actually part ofthe reason I view STFC more favorably. STFC is very open with what it is and doesn't try to pretend it's something it isn't. I respect that. Their "greed" can annoy me at times, but it doesn't try to suck my soul out like Blizzard did.
