Also I had complained about the golden shield prior to any announcements of what they were for, and only replied to someone who called me out for not being able to finish my raid. I hate for anything like this to happen to anyone at anytime. As someone who's prior military I've seen a lot of stuff and met a lot of people I can't stand for treatment for one and not all. I will always give props to them showing this to their players however I see it so much on here that others get neglected on the same issues

I got some new iso from the new building, but also gitting ~220% more in few weeks from artis (now peak was 1414%). But waiting for maxing the Eye on ops 55 first. I'm still lacking a lot of iso possible on my current ops, but either waiting for better efficiency or not buying because low value for money.
All were with Defiant, Cerritos, Titan (not max) and Spectre boost. Best result took 3 rounds and shield remained above normal full bar, but others dropped some below that.
Largest loot was 311,28k + 260k = 571,28k.

Awesome! I'm getting some boosts soon, that I'm going to try the 54.2 again. But not sure I'll be able to match that iso to take them down so quick. Though the T7 hull/shield parts you have definitely help with survivability, too. So ops 50 is still providing some challenges. But working on it!

Shield bypass (harrison and/or SNW kirk), or guaranteed crit (through officers, FT, ship boosts), are the usual paths to try to kill them in first round before go home gun fires. usually needing around T5-t6 weapons, depending on your iso or other factors

So im giving a new attempt to run STFC PC client under linux with wine and / or proton. Its much more easy to do since my last attempt 2 year ago. The game runs also much smoother. The only downside so far i found is that the ESC and enter key dont bind to the game. But maybe thats rippers mod i've not loaded yet. I'm going to look into it, but before i do, anyone here had simular issues or a solution into that?
The STFC PC client on my steam deck works great too. You can also use steam's keybinds to get more out of your console there.
Many focus issues have been solved too. so its a good thing

Ok figured out its a bug in wine which is still not solved. If you dont alt tab the game or lose focus it all works.
Fixed it by running wine reg add 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\X11 Driver' /t REG_SZ /v UseTakeFocus /d N /f leaving it here people that wants to play STFC under linux

a LONG time ago Adobe photoshop couldn't write to disks greater than 1.8tb. But Adobe image ready could. What was the difference? Adobe 'bought' ImageReady... a different code base. Photoshop had a bug where they'd get the size of the disk as a signed int- but too small. So it overflowed negative and said there was no disk space. ImageReady got it as unsigned and could do the math. The 'patch' was 6 bytes of swapping out the type and photoshop could work, but Adobe claimed it was impossible to fix.

If you need to punch down 8 levels I do wonder if your ships are very weak or if you're doing something wrong...I assume you used a titan max fort and damage exo's?

You should be theoretically be able to punch higher now.

Exos yes. ships are 200+ mil power G5 uncommon. Makes short work of everything they can reach normally. Biggest my ops allows for. I'll add in titan tomorrow, but if it takes that many tricks on top of the special exo, wow, what a mess for players
