100 contribution in my alliance is nearly 20B steel, it's nothing to me at 53, especially just after incursions, but the lower players are screwed as they can't donate that much.

Yup but alliance helps and alliance donations are 2 different things. A lvl7 can still send help to thier alliance of 100 people. A solo player can't help anyone cuz well.....they're solo.

I have completed everything from day1, day2 and day3 except the login thing which gives me 70 more points in the next few days... that will bring me to 1330 ... the preview for days 4 and 5 say there will be 440 and 460 more milestone points to be gained... 1330+440+460= 2230 ... meaning we will be missing 10 points even if everything will be completed... GREAT JOB SCOPLEY ... they can't even do 5th grade math

I believe that with the proper bench grinder you can get an attachment that helps you to hold a drill bit properly for sharpening

Some servers have already merged 1-3+ times, some haven't yet

Just to be clear: Server Merge means the permanent merge of 2 servers
Not to be confused with Incursions: a 24-hour event where 2 servers can cross over to eachother but still remain their own server

In my experience, Scopely announces a server merge but only about 7 days before it happens, giving you very little time to prepare
You can always try to ask a Community Manager if they can check whether your server is on their list of possible future mergers.
Can't promise an answer but it doesn't hurt to ask

everything you have in terms of % stats is based on base... if your ship got 100 shieldpiercing then +1000% would add up to 1100 shieldpiercing

at some point it doesnt make a difference anymore, especially if you already got +5000% mitigation and get additional 20% on top... so 5020% eah, big win xD

thats what the community sadly calls, diminishing return on researches and old one loosing their value to better newer ones. why invest 100k latinum in a research when 10k latinum for another one with more benefit exists as well. having em all of course is best, bet getting the most for your buck is what makes a difference as well

It's because these are supposed to equate to BP rewards. Normal BP rewards don't give epic Gas/Ore so they made the choice rewards to reflect that.
