my only real positive thing i have to say about this month is the changes to pinnacle of power, those are great, basically a freebooter level qol improvement

now try it without the paid track, it's noticeably slower to pick up the mats you need, especially when you've also got ships to use mats on to be able to keep up as you ops up, both in terms of dailies and in terms of what you need to be able to do/hit to keep up in event scoring

it's fine when all you need is commons and uncommons, although bp helps that go faster. once you need rares though, it slows down a lot

You can go from low levels up to 25 pretty easily without needing latinum and if in a good group can get all the help you need to go further. Plenty of other things to worry about gamewise til you need to worry about being in the higher levels.

Why does Scopay not add the QoL improvements as stated?

I understand Scopay needs to cater to the wallet warriors, but the spenders are going to have no one to fight if the FTP leave.

I have to spend more time collecting shtuff because the gift chests have to be redeemed in random parts. Sometimes it's two, occasionally, it's four... for just one chest.
Why do I have to select done on any item, in any tab, for any reason? Could'a sworn Scopay said they implemented a shortcut.
I'm not gonna spend all day on this game, ever. Nothing will make that happen.

At the top of my list is links and bookmarks. FIX THESE NOW, Scopay! ... before adding anything else. Please make them unbreakable, unlike the pink squares around mining nodes you said were fixed, stardates ago, and long before most of the current players started playing. Note, I have no problem restarting or playing with your inadequate programming skills in regards to the mining nodes.

Solo armada:
Takes 30 seconds to register warp has engaged. 90 seconds to fly there. 30 additional seconds to register the launch of my Armada. 90 seconds armada timer. 60 additional seconds to register I'm out of battle. 90 second flight time back. 60 additional seconds to register I'm actually home. Instant repair, but another 30 seconds before it shows being ready to send out. 90 second flight time. Rinse and repeat.

What should be a 4.5 (round up to 5) minute cycle takes 10 minutes.

Group armada:
Same physics. Except add in, can't see who is in my armada until I reload system. And sometimes requires several system reloads. And sometimes still requires application restart as well. I'd speed it in 30 seconds, except I can't see if the group is actually full, and it typically takes 5-7 minutes to fully determine that detail, due to everyone else not registering that I started it, that they have flown out, that they are in the system, and all the other fun physics noted above.

Watched a teammate start a solo 03 with a disco, kill it, then morph into a rev after the fact. That was more amusing than anything lol. Obviously he had the rev there the whole time, but the visuals are completely disconnected with reality, and I think thats most of the problems. Maybe packet loss, there's a lot of disconnect between server and client.

I say blame the drones and call it a day🤣

Yes. I don't understand the math as well as I wish I did, but someone can indeed explain it lol.

Think of it this way. Your car gets 30mpg. You add 100% fuel efficiency. You did not reduce the cost of gas to $0, you reduced the overall cost by 50%, because you now get 60mpg.

Same thing, 100% cost efficiency means your 1 box would reduce to 5k, not 0k

The math checks out. Again, wish I could lay it out for you, but it's fine. It's not what you were expecting, but it's as intended. And someone smarter than I can give you the formula.

But that's the reason for my exaggerated numbers, trying to make it easier to comprehend. Think of your build time efficiencies, you've got what, 500%, 1000%, 2500%? You can't think of it in terms of directly lowering the cost/time or you'd have to at some point ask the question, why isn't my timer and bill at 0? It's relative to the MPG of your builders, researchers. They're getting much better at building and researching and doing it much faster and cheaper, causing less overall cost and time spent. But it's not a directly applied cost reduction. It's an efficiency to your workers.
