Does applying one skin (say the ore mining one) to a Nova bind it to that one somehow so this nova is now locked in being specialized in ore mining exclusively and if I want a nova that is scecialized in gas mining I have to get another nova and give that one the gas mining skin? Torres is for hull breach. That won't help much on a battleship. Try Neelix. If you can get burning going, you activate a lot of research and some artifacts.
