I only got power back a few days ago and it is still very hard for me to log on consistently. It could be a very long time before all these issues are resolved here and in Florida . I think you should stop doing it Day by day and just put up 30 day shields

Honestly at this point I'm burning 24hr shields at every point the Ceasefire Shields are up for consideration; simply because I can't trust that it will renew because you end up being forced to ask us every 3 days; and we're one person above the CMs having a bad day and denying the shield from losing it; even though hurricane recovery takes lots of time and there's still hundreds of thousands of Americans still impacted.

I might encourage HAM to consider watching major American news outlets and automatically pushing for shield renewals until we reach a certain reasonably low number of Americans affected before continuing to ask.

I would also ask that HAM's peers and superiors who collaborate on the shielding decision to do the same and to not be overly aggressive or willing to drop the shields before all people have truly had the chance to recover from the hurricane. I personally think the shields have to be cheaper than potentially driving off people affected by the hurricanes this season.

Maybe we need to consider potentially even implementation of automatically extending peace shields regardless during any form of hurricane related National Emergencies. I know that Scopely can read from various feeds provided by national governments and use that to help guide and inform themselves on when shielding is appropriate for each region.

In the past, Scopely has been very stingy w/ peace shields for disasters. This has been a very obvious change, and I applaud them for it. There are fair arguments to be made on both sides. (I, for one, know that if I was back home in WNC and was impacted by Helene, I wouldn't care one whit if I'd gotten raided in the past few weeks. I'd have FAR more important things on my mind than having to come back and rebuild my base. I'd just be grateful to be alive. Screw a mobile game.)

GQ had the best packs we've had to date, an incredibly solid ship, significant improvements to an existing loop, introduction of a rewarding "biweekly" event, a decent BD officer, and a vehicle for a significant number of people to advance rapidly. It was quality. There were certainly issues, but aside from the IP, it was one of the best arcs gameplay-wise in a long time.

you do events before you do daily grind, then you know you'll get events done without worrying about the cap. it just comes down to crewing, ship tiers, and whether you pick hostile levels to maximise output or not

well, that and time spent, same as any grind event

just time spent has a cap on what'll be beneficial, but it's still not like there's that many players willing to spend enough time on one event to actually hit the cap on it, it's not gonna change outcomes on who wins, really, just the numbers involved won't peak so high
