aye, it's part of why i don't bother raiding much, my server's still pretty active but 90% of the time, if i find something worth raiding, it's shielded, if it's not, it's usually already drained and empty and just waiting to be shuffled off to the low tier system in the sky 'til such time as they log back into the game, if that ever happens. that said, i've played games where it's harder to get shields than it is in stfc, and players quit those much faster because they just become whale food with the only way out of that being to quit or to become a whale.

It's worth mentioning that you don't need to 'equip' a projectile or ship skin for the abilities to be active. Once you've unlocked a skin all relevant ships get whatever bonus it brings

I like these event stores that they have at the end of every overall arc because I get good officers and ship blueprints but I wish they would include every faction ship not just the faction you are working on

i believe it's alwayus only ships you're eligible to buy from the faction stores. so if you want the other ships, get your rep up in the other faction.

that being said, it's generally not recommended to buy faction ship bps from event stores because they're easy to acquire from the factions directly. better use your currency on things that can only be bought with $ otherwise.

I'd assume because they're all armada related, for the armada ship. But yeah, I definitely don't need more sisko, miles, or changeling kira at this point...and the inclusion of e-data and chapel who are specifically non-armada is confusing (though more useful to me personally)
