Yeah, it's very much in the weeds, but I would say it's not easy, but not impossible. They just need to keep each server pool (databases, etc.) at N+X, so they can absorb having up to X servers go down before performance is affected. And X should not be zero.

Having X > 0 also gives them some "burst" capacity.

Consider it something to look forward to, I am not very long in G6, the G5 comes really fast there. So it is preferable to go to G6 first and then work on maxing researches that cost thousands of UC G5 or rare G5 mats, unless it is efficiencies

You will want a 56 ship - they are leagues better than 53 ship. The credits for them come at decent rate from armada chests, as G5 progression will take you months and months, the credits will accumulate. 60 ship is a must have, but again you will easily have credits for it, since ops 55-56 and 59-60 take a really long time

You will want the 56 rare for warp range to grind reputation in deeper G5 systems, and to kill armadas with it. You will see around lvl 55 that some hostiles, like Silent ones, will start to be too strong for G5 uncommon. You might also run into warp range issues.
I got Rom 56 ship and Fed 60 ship so I would not use same credits, and I got the 56 to T6 so I could upgrade my cube - Sanctus and Cube then are amazing in waves and in solo armadas.
For the 60 ship, this is something at the very end of your G5 progression, and most likely you will build it and immediately go to G6 (maybe a few days on 60, but thereis no point waiting). And as you will be getting tons of G5 mats in G6 and you will no longer need them for buildings, it upgrades very fast.

You will see that in mid G5 the faction credits will start rolling in quite well

I mean. The problem originated when ops announced 1 thing, and then removed it. 3 runs would have been weird for a new officer. It wasn't that long ago we had 1 week one officer, second week a different.

The Gwen part looks more like a carrot to encourage players not to complain. Tbh, should have stuck with modified option as it was better for the players. Even those that "saved" for dajash. They would have won 10 fold actually

It’s not just one visual bug. Each of the loops still have multiple bugs and all of that builds up into something much more annoying. Kir’shara is months along with no fix. Voyager system nodes still need you to view another system then go back to see new nodes, scrolling the alliance store sees icons disappear still, error 5 is constant, still constantly click to enter my station and it freezes up needing a restart, lag lag lag, chat constantly bugs out, messages go missing, the game can’t keep up with impulse crew, issues with viewing systems…. This isn’t even the full highlight reel. Lots of those are ‘only a visual bug’. All you’re doing is trying to justify kicking the can down the road again….. Quality over quantity eh
