I like using the keyboard in the PC version for faster completion of tasks and events using 2 or more ships in the same or different systems. I use my left hand fingers on the numbers to select ships then hit the spacebar to go to the selected ship. I can use 2 ships to get through the 50 Swarm for dailies much faster than using one ship and my trackball for all of it.

What trackball? Elecom EX-G, also available in a perfect mirror image left hand model. The wheel tilt slides selection screens left/right in STFC.

This was/is an out of order maintance. My guess is that someone found an Glitch, abused it and the Server System went into Maintaince Mode so they announced it like an hour before it went complete down. But we will see what the Patch Notes will "tell us".

Doing this earlier or actaully staggering worldwide regions would make that problem go away. and have much less impact.
