Yeah, that's quite common on most games. Devs just don't get enough time for fixes. Because pushed to do other aspects.

Though for this game and devs group I don't know how many changes there have been in the team. So if all core group has changed during years it could be a really time consuming challenge to re-learn the code to fix issues raised overtime.

I work in the tech industry I actually get that sometimes these things are out of their control... I own a VOIP company and do you think I have control when a customer has bad internet and their phone lags... or a fiber trunk just got smashed by a train and traffic is rerouted and cause lag... lag is very very very rarely caused by poor programing and is usually the result of network or hardware issues

Where as I am a dev elsewhere... 70% (and that is being generous) of what we are seeing could have been avoided by adding a week to the release.
Having said that, it's not just a crunch issue, there are clearly team side talent issues here too. Some of these errors are too easy to spot and fix to be anything but inexperience or ineptitude
