I've never seen it stated specifically, and it didn't say anything ingame.

However, my build times were substantially shortened with it.

But it was based on ops level and not the actual building. Once I hit 61, it no longer worked on my buildings, even if they were using G5 materials.

So it was useful when I was deep in the "before you can upgrade this building, you have to upgrade this other building first, which needs that other building, etc. Just make sure you've got everything you want/can upgrade before you speed up to 61.

You're also going to burn through a lot of mats to do so.

It depends on what level you are and what crew you've unlocked so far. But the faction crews (Kirk, Gorkon, Nero, and those that synergize) are good for folks in their 20-30s. Doubt you have Khan yet, but he'd be good as well.

Try another FT too if u have one. The mining one is better on the survey ships. There's combat ones if u have some. They help somewhat

Check logs too, to see how much damage you're outputting vs taking, and which round you're dying in

But you'll be able to punch up way above soon. Usually ships 5x your ship's power at least. Easily through crewing and research

Jelly gets overpowered quickly by North Star in low 20s, with better repair costs. But pushing fast through 20s to the faction ships even better, like the Saladin (sally). Then the next tier of faction ships. Usually grouped as uncommons/rare/epics

Also skip kehra, vahk etc. Go straight for unc fkr ships, like sally, or the equivalent klingon, romulan counterparts, like the bortas. Vidar will help you along the way too, a bit. Well* rounded ship that becomes important for borg probes and opc hunting. You can then swap it for the Talios later, after you max it

Back in the first days your vaults was important the save up and have some left over if you got raided , and the refiners helpt when you was dry on trit and par … something new players will never experience I think these days

I'd say rush to 28 and grab that sally or bortas. Everything else will fall in place by then

Stfc.space and a few other tools, like spocks.club to help plan your moves better. Usually good to wait till the weekends and grab any epic officers you can, within your bracket. Camp at some levels, then jump a few levels at once when ready. Especially in the 20s and 30s. Pve officers also help a lot in the beginning for growth

Epicard/edata/5 and janeway/torres/kirk on enterprise work nice for farming rep etc and even for MU stuff later, and gorn stuff. Silent hostiles you'll be able to crew for them by then

I think it depends on other factors too. For example, I've had incursions where lots of raiding happened on both sides but also where both sides were on full lock down. Sometimes there's just nothing to do except for the handful of top players, and even they have said they're bored due to lack of targets sometimes
