The really frustrating part is that it used to be a very good company with a love of high-quality and standards. They used to be extremely innovative and were a classic example of a well-run union shop. Then there was a management change and they went for “shareholder value “instead of quality. And then people died. A lot of them.
It’s yet another example of a company that had the choice between quality and money and chose wrong.

Is there something (below decks, research, artifact, favor) that allows station raiding to bypass parsteel? I have a alliance mate who was just raided 26 times by an amalgam with max cargo crew, and zero of his trillions of parsteel was lost but hundreds of millions of tri and di were taken?

I still think a capture the flag event would work. Put 10 random ships out, alliance that finds and kills them scores. Ships move to new locations as they get killed off. Make the event loot actually worth the hunt instead of 2 shards of some random crew.
