Totally agree. I’m normally fairly positive and optimistic around new content, but this is an insult. Most of the tasks require purchasing packs. There’s a reason why people keep leaving the game, and that’s partly because the balance of paid to F2P content is all wrong.
I probably won’t take part in this event. Unless something changes it’s going to be another DOA feature like starbase assaults.
This type of thing works in other games because there is a paid element but most of the tasks are available to everyone, not the majority needing a £100 pack

Is my take. I think things they gone screwed up are the tasks are somewhere between barely plausible and utterly impossible for pre-ascension servers, and they’ve double-dipped the paid mechanic with the re-rolls and the excessive skew towards literal pay to win (acquire tasks)
