I've been thinking for a while now that if you guys want to keep this game running for longer than another year or two, you probably need to rebuild it from the ground up. As a developer myself, all signs tell me the game was built on an engine designed for a Base Builder game for phones, that had 6 years of updates piled onto it, many of which the engine wasn't designed for. Hoping a rebuild project has been greenlit in light of today.

Half the time the arc teams have no contact from what it seems. There is no centralized build or version they run off of that gets updated as they work and release.

It’s actually been the reason for a lot of the bigger problems in the past. They fix a problem, but then group b and c working on content don’t get the updated build to work off of, so as those arcs release stuff re-breaks, and the changes they made or added make the previous fix ineffective.

It can be a bad update a bad maintenance something that might not have gone correctly but I'm other times it's either hackers dos or just one server going down Cascade failure is caused when one server crashes the next server has to pick up the load but if that server can't handle the load all the at once then that server goes down and that causes the next two servers to have to pick up a load and then the next three servers and so on like a domino effect if too many servers were taken down all at once for maintenance it could have caused the Cascade failure

I remember we had an arc launch day a couple years ago. They did maintenance and then the servers were FULLY down for an additional like 8-9 hours where you couldn't even log in. You just got the maintenance screen. I think it was the beginning of the DS9 arc?

Need a G6 ship, 1 token.
