Would like to just say about the summer games event, I read a lot of negative comments about it, especially concerning the domination aspect of it, but seeing as no-one needs to complete the domination mission and can claim the final, award after completing the other nine, I don't understand what all the complaining is about, sometimes it seems as though some people just want to complain for the sake of it.
Personally I've enjoyed the event and look forward to more, (obsidian hamster) deserves the credit.

@terse jackal I have been critical in the past, but I need to provide some positive feedback on your work with the summer games event. The PvP element is the best so far and should be the template used for any future pvp-based events scoring, so great job there! The Kobayashi Maru SMS is a good idea, just needs to be tweaked a bit to make it better, specifically you either need to distribute all the rewards equally across all the milestones, or you need to make the earlier milestone easier and the last one more difficult (but with the same overall spend requirement). Anyways, that is my feedback, but overall great job Eco!

That's dependant on what you used to complete the fitness tests. The fitness teste aren't difficult to complete without using materials, but if you search hard enough I'm sure you can come up with high priced, material-heavy researches that you've been avoiding for awhile lol

I appreciate you asking for feedback, as others have said the physical fitness test is the biggest concern due to lack of things to upgrade at a certain point. I will say my main concern at this point is more aimed at the next arcs design choices since so far this year has been contentious and the MU hasn't inspired much faith. CS denying basic maths and igname tooltips isn't raising my faith either though I hope @queen jolt can help with that one.

It isn't marked Quantum or Heroic so people don't see it as a spend event then see the milestones and realize its a spend event and even more spend event than the Recruit Mat Spend Heroic SMSs (2x that sms that just finished right before it). I'm Ops 42, $100 gets me what 5k 4* epic, 18k 4* rare, 66k 4* unc, 6k 3* rare, and 8k 3* unc. Let's assume somehow I can actually spend all of that through...magic. That'd get me...5m points out of the 22m I need to spend. So $400 to spend to finish if again I had a way to actually spend that volume of those types of mats. The $200 to complete the recruit SMS is bad enough...

(22k of each 4* unc) and the Ultra Station Upgrade pack is the one I grabbed to do the math (not that I am a player buying $100 packs anyway).

Your pack may look different based on which server you are on (early servers get ... smaller packs to drive early spending), what you have spent on previously (treasury for sure is affected by if you have spent), etc. Not everybody is offered the same stuff.

the research says it increases costs and payout by the same amount which isn't the case. At research tier 4 the payout and refinery cost is supposed to be increased by 300%. In reality the trell-D cost is increased by 900 and trell-A by 1150% or so.

The confusion lies in what that 300% is being applied to, and it looks like it is only the epic output of the TD exchange. The whole thing is much more complicated than that, and there is a detailed description of how much the exchange will change with each tier up located in the popup you get after pressing the i button in the refineries.

those 3 are in the same multiplication. so once your ship got 2000% mining bonus for crystal it really doesnt matter anymore if you got barot as captain or not, because 2000 or 2100 makes little difference
