Depends on your level. That's why it's recommended to start at level 38, latest 39 so with combination of drops and faction credits you have both valdore and pilum cheaper than credits only (klingon/fed same way)

Easier to hit away teams and faction scouts IMO, especially as if you've not locked your faction any grinding you do for drops is going to hamper your ability to spend faction credits

the lower the number generally the older the server, which generally means higher level players and fractionally better packs

Not too surprising though, comp chests have been getting consistently worse like nearly all aspects of stfc. This arc is a slight improvement over the others this year only by virtue of the others being utterly terrible. The gorn grind isn't bad but the pvp focus was terrible

There seemed to be an issue with events where the demarcation event bucket had loaded without a demarcation event but with the "service commendations excellence" event but that seems to have been resolved. The excellence event is now in the ticketed events tab and the demarcation one is gone so everything is okay now I think 🙂

I can't remember how it was on lower tiered whip, but currenty there's 5 roll chances for rare and epic while only 2 roll chances for bells and protomatter

lvl 30 waves would indeed likely help remove a lot of frustration, with just G3 you really can't get far and even with G4 you'll stuggle around 6-7/10, with 2 decent G5 and 1-2 G4 youc an carry 1-2 G3 players though

Do your own alliance not support you?

Under ops 38ish you only need 3 waves over 3 days to complete the sms event.

When waves first came out I was ops 35 and had just maxed my saladin.

With maxed saladin and hostile crew you can usually manage wave 1 FKR hostiles or actians.

A 1mil ish power vidar will do wave 1 probes.

Use realta or vidar for surveys.

Put together a team of players of similar levels and divide who will do which type of hostile.

Yes you will likely only clear 1 wave. But 1 wave per day over 3 days completes SMS event. Rinse and repeat for each sms during the arc and you will hit every milestone on wave defence pass.

Focus on rep until you hit first rep level up then focus on the daily pull of the transmitters for facade that will build your power in waves up fastest so you can gradually get further each time.

Work as a team and you'll see improvement week on week.

I'm now ops 41 and between myself and another ops 40-44 player we can support 3 ops 30-35 players to wave 4 guaranteed everytime.

We get all of our alliance lower ops sorted then we jump in waves with smaller alliances and randoms to help them too.

Tier 2 is even worse. 23k a day and here are some of the upgrades costs

So you are looking at inbetween 32k per part to 48kish for the guns

2-3 per part at tier 2.. Imagine later tiers... Nightmarishly slow..

Now maybe... Just maybe... They will do it like the cerritos.. Unlock the ship on like Tuesday events or something and after you unlock they give parts and juice like the cerritos... Maybe...

It's extremely likely that you received the comp a couple days ago and the pts within. It contained 5k, and you're missing 6k to be on track. You're probably missing the final milestone of one event. CS can find out which one.

Yeah I end up spawn killing if the system is busy. If it's crowded then simply sticking on a spawn and being patient will usually be sufficient, unless literally nobody is killing reds, which is another issue entirely...
