I think you missing the point of the dissatisfaction. Firstly it’s not 3 choices as one is a maybe tomorrow, next week, next month, maybe never option. Another is an insult that leaves a tiny amount of comp you can’t spend devaluing it even further and that third is just pretty meh. The fact the cost of each respective items are not easily divisible multiples of each other or the amount of Comp just shows the lack of thinking and attention put into it.

Absolutely but that should have probably been communicated in the original post so people didn't think that they had the choice of three rewards that's why they are frustrated. The message should have been worded better and explained the process of this being a compensation currency with that option. People without discord will have already spent their rewards with no idea that this is how you plan to proceed with future compensation. The message communicated was this is the compo these are the options, the actual message is s much more complex and extends beyond this particular compensation.

For example syndicate tokens: effort collecting for mantis refinery 5 mins max per day. I was hindered in game let's say two hours, that'd make a volume enough for 24 days, instead I get the equivalent of one day. Probably a 30d shield unless you can be sure you didn;t nuke any 30d shields when setting the ceasefire shield. Which istself was another screw up.
except for the event store loot, I don't think the others hold a huge value for scopely.

then add to that the tokens we got, reduce the galactic trade so 1000comp = 800 galactic.

We will see 👍. On a sidenote the compensation seems a bit on the low end tbh. The outage affected players just before event rest which might have made them miss BP relevant events, leaderboard spots and event store currency. You compensate with 5k syndicate XP or a daily chip. Players who opted for the "self-fix" lost tokens for token space etc. I a reasonable comp would have bin 12-20k event store currency, tokens for token systems in addition to what is given out. A compensation should always factor in that the service you proivde to paying customers was interrupted.

Yeah it's also why I didn't give more detailed feedback before myself. To give my earlier criticism of the comp chest more context I tend to look at the impact of the event to see what comp chest I would appreciate. In this case it was lost play time + for many people lost shields, ships being recalled meaning lost discovery summons/token system entry currency/....., some people missing out on event rewards,.... In such cases I would've expected a comp chest to adress said issues by giving for example 10k event store currency, some shields and a few days worth of elite daily tokens. I also tend to look at previous comp chests to manage my expectations and taking both into account what boils down to less than 1 days worth of synd exp or 1 elite daily pull does feel light. While I get scopely won't give everyone 50k event store currency, 2 x 30 day shields, 200 elite daily tokens,.... this does feel like scopely devs went "what is the minimal amount we can likely get away with". I think 10k wouldd've been lovely, 5k would have been good but 1-3k is just in the meh range especially in light of how long the situation lasted.
