6 months ago, we did not share anything until arc launch. And the event schedule would come out days later.

Then we introduced the event schedule day one.

Then we started doing previews a day early.

Then we launched the actual arc 5 days early.

This is ONE event, that we wanted to ensure we at least communicated on Day One that a F2P path would be available because we wanted to get ahead of that question. We mentioned it is similar to NX-01. We just didn't share the day it launches.

Neither. We told them that there was a path that had been planned and that we would announce it on day one to ensure players knew we already thought about it. But we did not tell them a date. They assumed, and we all talked about it.

And as I've said Obsidian I truly believe that but it's also clear said feedback is nearly entirely ignored and despite the "quality over quantity" promise this year so far has been largely quantity with a lack of quality. The previous pvp arc for example could be generously called tonedeaf and you're aware of the xindi/silent arc reception. This arc is the least bad this year only by virtue of not actively breaking anything yet it does nothing to fix the issues the playerbase experiences, offers nothing for F2P and from what I'm hearing from paying players the eviscerator isn't exactly the shining new hope some CC were praising it as.

Despite months of "we're looking into it" there's still no solution for the cube despite many obvious solutions. People have been asking for changes to the silents for months but no feedback there. G5 players have been asking for months to split G5 and G6 so they actually can compete in SLB's again but no dice there. The G6 economy is still a disaster with G6 ships being a joke if I listen to the G6 players,.....

You're driving your low and f2p people away and for no reason. Why gatekeep 4 year old content behind a pay wall?

I think a big thing is that if you go to shift a rock that is underneath a lot of other rocks, the whole pile will either shift or crumble. That's similar to our game, in a sense. Some items that are being looked into/adjusted require adjusting things that are stacked on top. The people who put those rocks at the bottom aren't the same ones reorganizing them now as well.

Personally it's not that feedback is ignored. It's just that depending on things that are raised, it will have a different priority on how much it effects other things, etc.

The problem, at least for me, with that is twofold 1) It makes me fear the eviscerator will cost me a ton of currency slowing my progress elsewhere/requiring even more grinding 2) The margin of the NX-01 is 100 to 200 days so incredible wide.

I haven't scrolled back to catch what all the complaints are, so I may be a bit off base, but my take on ship (and officer sourcing) is: Knowing whether there will be a free path in the near future is absolutely vital, and honestly should be required information for any new officer or ship on their release. Whether that path is a 'good' path (lets say Titan or Voyager sourcing) or terrible (such as Data (who I still don't have)) is a seperate issue and we can't address that until we know what the sourcing will look like. The likely length of the path though? That is something we can estimate now. Based on the ship needing 200 shards (just like the NX-01), the path is likely to be painfully long to the point where the ship will probably not be that relevant by the time I get it.

They open the rip in a 50+ system so you as a 40-49 player can not GO to that system yourself there for you are not allowed to use the RIP

you should be able to hit much higher with that crew.
it doesn't look like leslie is even triggering, at that level you should be ending the fight with over full health.

hunting much higher level should give you nearly full cargo from 1 battleship kill, and an instant travel home by explosion.
