As server 90/91 have just been through a merger there have been a lot of changes and the leaderboards are increasingly misleading and innacurate.

Yeah, with all of the added loops, scopes should have a rule about increasing the hostile limit (or better yet adding a sweep for an old loop). But the fact that the hostile limit seems to be coming up more means it should start getting some eyes at some point 🤞

We do run the bonus refinery but its not always right before Incursions. So with incursions coming earlier this month it will be a little later I'm thinking.

Other games have addressed the problem mostly successfully.
Basically if you attack someone below your level you have a penalty applied to all your ship's stats to bring it down to a median power equivalent of the person you are attacking. Then it's just crew and research that give you an edge.

That works for some SMS….the War Room takes 50M/20K OR 2,500 Realta swaps to complete. If 50 players are active, that’s 500 a piece. It’s cheap, yes, but that’s a lot of screen time for tapping and clicking.

g6 came out and only 1-6% of each server went upwards making higher ops brackets having if within 8-13 ops of range only 20 or so players to fight so kaboom bracket be bigger

But when you're seeing that a great deal of your players aren't into it, and then force pvp onto them while encouraging them to kill every ship in the galaxy they lay eyes upon for 4 days... It's just making people play a way they wouldn't normally. "Sorry, I don't normally kill miners that aren't OPC, but my alliance needs the points." I popped a 3 day sheild and am turning my client off for the 3 days while I rethink my life. lol

Yeah, but it's not even an SMS where you'd do enough to stop. It's an ALB, so top alliances are going to be chasing the top spots for the whole 4 days. All ships are points. Even incursions are just a day and you're kind of working with your whole server. This is just chaos to get people to spend their RSS.

if you have enough G4 ore coming in monaveen is a solid alternative to a G4 uncommon ship, at least until you can get a rare at 46.
if you ops lock it, it'll also be an amazing ship for gorn, silent, and xindi ships early on.
and it gives a lot of basic resources every day.
NX-01 seems strong, but the lack of shields really hurts it unless you're hunting xindi aquatics.

you're probably better off using m'benga on something that has decent shields to begin with.
NX-01 is only really useful against aquatics, or things you only have to attack once(armadas, mission bosses), and for the latter any good G4 ship(including monaveen) will do the same.

Oh I meant non-xindi. My understanding is the nx01 has high hull, so shield regen might be strong on a select hostile. All I can reckon at present is surveys (one shot per round) but not sure if there’s a good use pairing (my augur never drops shields on capital traders, so may need g5/g6)
