@heady moon Instead of rolling out a month long pvp event you should have started to balance the pvp element of the game. There is nothing anyone can do to g4 or g5 ships a stage above yours (uc, rare, epic) and now we have level 60+ players farming the mission points for easy kills…thanks for an absolutely unpleasent event…again!

@heady moon I'm sure some have said this, but the problem with adding more to "Ultra" is that it's guaranteed to take you longer to get officers you need. The more there are to "Randomly choose" the less chance you have of Leveling / Obtaining a specific officer.

I am amazed that Scopley is so disconnected from the player base and how most of people play the game. To pretty much force down pvp into peoples throats is a very good way to make the more pve oriented players leave the game. What is seen now on most servers is pointless killing left and right and pvp in STFC is not about skill and smartness, its all about how much money you can afford to spend - its never been more clear that this is a pay to win game (if there was ever a doubt). I think scopley has shot themselves in the foot with this arc. If they had added a flag pvp or pve its been okey but now its pointless for anyone who isnt a whale to play.

It's not a positive since this just further dilutes the pool, a complaint that has been mentioned time and again and the officers that were added already have a specific sourcing through the mantis refinery. Yep. No more auto-farming, no more safe grinding, giving all whales the perfect excuse to just go ham with no consequences. Forcing daily PvP is the best way to drive everyone from the game and leave the whales no one to hit (they don't hit each other). You forced endless loops down our throats, and now we have to deal with getting slaughtered while trying to do those loops, forcing more time in game or to quit. This should have just been a part of Incursions.

I'm going to see how the next few days goes, I'm just home from a stressful day so I haven't given the gorn hostiles a spin yet. Between the battle logs which indicate the gorn are silents 2.0 and events encouraging others to make events harder to do my first impression is that this is worse though. I'm not trying to be dramatic when I saw that it honestly feels like the past 3 months have been tests of seeing where the playerbases breaking point lies and that the devs and arc runners are currently actively trying to kill the game. Anybody somewhat competent just doesn't make so many bad choices in straight succession (accidents/bad judgements can happen anywhere) without it being intentional.

Honestly too early to tell. Love the Exborg changes (though could have gone further with a couple of the chests). Silent hostiles I like, but spawning needs to be fixed. I’d say that’s the only issue there.

On the other hand, if you’re going to be encouraging PvP every single day for the new building chests, and leaving the OPs bracketing as-is, I’d actually say this arc is worse. Can’t do much of anything if someone has incentive to kill your warship 24/7.

You know what I'm done with this game.

I used to have good fun... 3 years ago. But ever since the first "arc" it's been getting worse almost every single "patch". More consumer exploitation, more ridiculously unfair features, more grind, more grind more grind. did i said more grind?

there's no point in playing if I know I won't ever have enough free time or will to slave away in doing half the things i need to decently progress. There's no point playing if a serious portion of my actual progress is only owned to being carried away by an alliance of whales. And even if I did I would still get crushed down by the ridiculous new features and the rampant FOMO exploitations.

I have a life, there's only so much time I can spare, and I've seen for years this game taking more and more, creeping to own as much it can. Well it's official I can't handle it anymore.

Thanks all for having me, I won't necessarily say I regret those years invested, I just regret not acknowledging sooner that this end was already written in stone long time ago. Time to find a better game that actually respects me. The irony is I can clearly see that even if I spent 5 digits into this, it would not have gotten better one bit, I'd have just ended farther before leaving out of burnout. Good thing I remained F2P then.

We don't control it, it's not a rule that is in our terms and conditions, and that's because everyone ROE on every server is different. The beauty of STFC is the fact that servers and Commanders have built something that we don't manage or control inside of the game

War Room and Being Forced into PvP - There are many different kinds of players, and I understand not everyone loves PvP. But as many of you have seen in this Discord, there are a bunch that do love PvP. This is day 1 of the War Room event being active, if changes need to be made, we can make them. MY suggestion...

Narrow PVP bands to 1or 2 ops plus of minus for 1V1.

Allow armadas against bases using the same rules as existign armarda building. On a 2min timer. (only able to trigger against OPS higher than initiator)

Allow fleet members to garrison an unshielded base to fortify it (fun trap too)

Lock attack options entirely out in token space
