You have to understand, never spend any currencies that open chests without timers, never upgrade or tier up anything, never use mats or the stuff for specialty buildings UNTIL the event comes around for each of the things listed above. There is almost an event for everything. It's easy to get top ten+ in slbs like this

With week long pvp events that appear to score for everything (so far), am I gonna see it revert back to those days lol. Oh I need to mine some ore for my rom rep daily. Oh I got killed for some pvp event points 🙈🤣

@hot nacelle it's another loop...just this time with PvP added flavor. An even more specialized hostile type that we almost assuredly will get another specific ship to counteract them. With officers, of course, designed for these new hostiles as well.

The PvP stuff is whatever. If you're at war/active during Incursions, it's a nice bonus I guess. We'll have to see what the numbers are like to see how much it helps.

Moving officers from transporter patterns to the chest, a bassackwards move, and moving an officer set from one of the few decent sourcing mechanics they’ve had in a couple years into the chest as well to even further dilute the pool on meaningful shards people could get, while at no point increasing the amount of officer shards payed out.

Instead of having any sort of centralized build that everyone works off, or having an overall czar of development who gives outlying teams current builds to update what they are working off of, they just have split off groups working on an arc months and months ahead of time, in a vacuum, with no compatibility testing or updates to the version they are working off of.

So every single time there is a new arc you see issues from months ago come back, plus new ones created by lack of compatibility testing with the actual new content.

I want to see an Arc that allows the Player to choose a path "Engineer" - Mining. "Tactical" - PVP. "Command" - PVE. You get buffs, research etc related to your chosen field. There can be a method to choose / reset your path, along with some penalty or months long cooldown or both. But something that allows players to differentiate from each other more would be awesome.
