there's no other way a server can get scored 482T points by the enemy
these folks handed nearly five times as many points to the enemy as we did
so really, I think 29 would actually lose to us

Try out faction interceptor and bandits etc. your main concern is the loot boxes and ship parts from them. Everything else coming from hunting hostiles is a bonus, ignore that.
Hunt 10 interceptors of each kind. See which drops most loot boxes. Then open those and determine hunting which kind dropped you the most interceptor parts. Hunt that kind of interceptors some more.

Knowing how much they mitigate will help you design crews to improve performance. Kang is pretty popular to stick on there vs swarms.
These days, Janeway Torres Doc seems like a solid swarm crew.

and some servers don't treat botany bay as a valid miner, so they may not fall under any mining protection your server may have agreed on.
