The backend for this game - anything touching netcode, really - is very poorly implemented by modern standards. Don’t need to see the code to know that - there are patterns to how the game glitches and lags that show where the problems are.

And yet that doesn't happen, taken as a whole the quality and stability of the game is fairly consistently degrading with some small improvements before worsening again and again. There is also an increasing frequency of features breaking for extended periods of time (waves for example) to outright game breaking issues (unity debacle). I know you're not on the tech side so you can't fix it but it would be a lot easier to give scopely credit if there was an upward trend while from a technical PoV the game keeps getting worse and worse and I think it's been well talked about how popular the grinds upon grinds the past months and especially the reptilian xindi and silent grinds are.

Another weird thing is, the new ships (G4 and above) seem to have potato graphics in space.

This may be one of the conspiracy theories lol... back when G4 originally launched, the automated attack ships in enemy faction spaces started spawning in with G4 ship models, and noticed a ton of crashes in game every time those automated attack ships spawned. I believe the disco arc finally fixed that issue but ever since the new ships seem to have potato graphics.

I don’t think this can happen. When Xindi came out…design side already knew the pain points it would cause…the game is fully instrumented, they know everything about players, individually and in aggregate. Nothing about the f2p difficulty surprised them.

Having the suggested livestream changes the conversation with the player base from “oops, that was hard” where CMs can drag out the “oh, we’re meeting about it” until it’s firgitten in the next crisis, to an explicit “yep, we did this on purpose”. Nothing good can come of this, for the developers.

Can’t see it happening.

And it’s pointless unless the monetization person is running it anyway, because that’s what every single comment/question will ultimately be about.p, at its core.

i have a horrible terrible one i made for myself

assuming you max pull the TD exchange every day for 600 TD's a day:

• getting the eye to t8 takes 56 days.
• getting an epic to t8 takes 84 days with a t8 eye, 92 without. (8 days diff)
• getting a rare to t8 takes 66.5 days without, 61 with. (5.5 days diff)
• getting a UC to t8 takes 59.5 days without, 54.5 with. (5 days diff)

Assuming I'm reading this right and have the rounding on shards/level correct. Also this doesn't factor in increased speed of unlocking the other non-temporal artifacts, and I didn't factor in taking the eye past T8 since T9+ is temporal remnants and I wasn't positive the math on that.

• notably getting the eye to t8 is longer than a UC with a t8 eye and shorter than a UC without the eye, since it affects each future tier of itself at its current value
