Now I’m at 54 with a northcutt and I can do full pulls off one silent hostile run and I have over 900k of scraps from the xindi so don’t need to touch that for a week, everything is just easier now but took so long to get here

They're always pushing people to move Ops based on content and mat SLBs, etc but I disagree. I'm Ops 46 and I have no trouble doing double pulls for Xindi and Silents. My ships are higher tier than most for my Ops as I don't rush ahead like some.

Thats what Im saying,,,the difference between a G4 Uncommon and Rare. The OP was asking whether the Newton was worth it for the increased loot drop ship ability. Its secondary in many ways, the prime factor is warp range and how long is lasts and how quick you are wanting to grind and lock Factions at 1B then go on to get your G5 uncommon

Sometimes daily events give it. If your faction ends up hating Klingons, tygokor is a great place to farm officer xp later on (amongst other things there)

do not ever use janeway as captain on nx-01 or against xindi.
xindi bypass shields, nx-01 has almost no shields to catch damage with.

on nx-01 the single best crew for aquatics if you want loot is leslie as captain, moreau and nero/georgiou(whoever is more consistent) as officers.
with this crew you can punch up crazy high on battleships, giving you weeks of aquatic loot and a day of xindi loot from 1 kill.
and a free trip home, as your ship self-destructs with full cargo.

when you get low on health leslie will temporarily restore a % of health.
on a ship with big hull, against ships with low damage, this means you may outheal any damage you take.
at the end of the battle you lose all healed health again, but it counts as a win if you defeat the hostile by the 100th round.

Probes drop more because of two reasons: perfect chest drop rate, and high officer exp loot in that chest. Most other chests won't have nearly the same amount.
