Used to be a reward for the combat training mission to kill hostiles that didn't exist in game yet, once they raised the cap and added g6, the token was removed from the mission and cannot be obtained (was never obtainable, but now you can't even see it as a reward)

Ahh I remember it. The North Star was op. A Battleship disguised as Miner. If you max the North Star, you can skip all other ships until the Vi’dar/Saladin. Then later on just get a G3 Epic.

This is also important. I’d focus on getting away team credits (look like a shuttle). You can exchange them later on for ship BPs. It’s a lot easier than being dependent on faction credits only.
