The armory only gives free unlocks at those levels for the green ships. The rares+ do not get free unlocks.
Their abilities are available, usually through the cash shop, when the armory reaches the shipyard levels of the ships, same as for the greens.

I still can’t believe how little Event Store Currency there is this month. Removing Ticketed Event Store currency, removed 27,000 PER DAY and there’s 9 event days in the month, not to mention that if you did all those, there’s another 9,000 per day for the rare ticketed event on 3 more days. Thats 270,000 Event Store currency that is not being replaced month. Then running events that don’t reward event store currency? We don’t need Seven shards in an event store month. We need event store currency. You could easily add events for Recruitment or Fleet Commanders or Away Teams AS YOU HAD IN THE PAST, with both SMS and SLB routes that would reward event store currency. It’s what makes those months fun and exciting and this month you’ve ruined it. Do better or be done with this game.

Everyone knows you’re simply waiting to see what kind of kick-back you get from the community before you release more events that offset the anger from the community. If you don’t feel that enough of that anger, you simply won’t release the events. It’s been like this the last few months, and it’s either not reading the community or you’re testing the waters. Either way it’s disheartening to see a great game squeezing out its fan base through frustration. Do better.

Some events and loops will require more difficult tasks. I'd check to see if you're ready for the 61 jump by testing your ship against the harder content. Silent Hostiles, for example, looks like it'll require loot from a rather high warp system.

One of the reasons we're dissatisfied with the ticketed events is the lack of officer shards available from them. Many of us won't even bother with the ticket events for this very reason. Perhaps we could find a compromise with the inclusion of event store currency?

Eco said it isn’t going to change. I asked about month to month updates on event store currency and he said to spend, not hold on as they aren’t going to change it back
I do think they may increase the available event currency later in the month, as they have in the past. My conspiracy theory is they hold back some for comp chests and oppsie gifts. After enough of the month passes they clear some of that currency budget to seed back into the game

I don't expect to unlock every officer from an arc without spending some money. But I find it pointless to purchase even the $20 elite battle pass if we continually fall short of shards as had been the case of late. Even if we're able to unlock the rare officers and 3/4 of the epic officer, at least it puts us in range for future event store purchases. We've seen these rewards go from a flow, to a trickle, and now a drip. It's very frustrating that we're expected to spend so much time doing so many events for less chances to unlock new officers than before.

So it's more of a perceived value because of the rarity of the officers, but it's actually not. The uncommon officers served a purpose through their abilities and synergy. Removing them doesn't increase the value of the officers being released.

That’s the thing: if snw crew works, it’s usually best for kills/hull. But if you’re at a point where it takes you 6-8 rounds with snw, even one bad rng where it goes up to 10 rounds can ruin the whole run. Janeway Torres works better in those cases.

T9-T10 it gets bad though, as the highest ones you can reach are really easy.. T9 I can kill just over 200 52s. But it’s not possible to reach the next level even with ghrush.

its easy to do, the npc dailies will finish it - just need the green ticket to proc in gifts. the generic npc option is quite useful, so many times in the past a rogue has splatted me in borgy space when i needed about 5 hits to complete the event. this gives a get out of jail card for those who run out of warp tokens 🙂

You only get disco upgrade benefits at ops 40 when you get the 1d speedups, so you've got plenty of time. Still a long grind but imo summoning > speedups I can't get yet xD

29s have an unusual firing pattern that makes them weaker than other borg probes. You should regularly check if your ship is capable of these instead of punching down on 25s. A strong crew alternative is PMT.
