How an update can be pushed that breaks one of the newest, toughest grinds is totally unacceptable - and is indicative of a lack of thorough testing before release...
They want to charge hundreds of dollars for small bonuses, primes, ships, officers, all sorts... But yet don't seem to care about ensuring the game at least functions. It's got to stop, and promises of "quality over quantity" are just hollow, meaningless words when this sorta stuff happens just weeks after said promises.
They either need to take the time and test this stuff properly, or stop making false promises of improvement and let folks realise they're wasting their money on a broken mess of a game.

A fix shouldn't have been needed in the first place though Obsidian, because it should have been tested and vetted and ensured things worked before being updated.
Obviously Eco does a lot to feed information back, as do you and the previous CMs, but as others point out, it sounds like it falls on deaf ears, because nothing really ever changes.
Grinds are being added quicker than efficiencies, mechanics are being added and broken in equal measures, and more ways to get money are prioritised over fixing anything.

With another on the way mid-BP, it seems. It's got to slow wayyyy down, because it won't spur people on - it'll end in fatigue and people giving up - especially when it keeps breaking stuff.
We usually get 1 / 2 grinds per complete 2/3 month arc. We got waves with Ent crews, we got Voyager with formations, and we got Monaveen with new PVP officers.
But in three months, we've had Xindi, Xindi Aquatic/NX, Silents, new Artifacts, and a rumoured additional. That's too much, and goes against the "quality versus quantity" that was released immediately before this started.

As a ops 46. With a t6 pilum I have no issues with Xindi loot to get 2pulls (without nx01), punching up hitting 53 plus solos, etc. I'd call my research above par and crews mostly t2 that are needed for this (Janeway etc).
So why are these hostiles so hard I can barely kill a handful.
There is no need for tickets if you purposefully made the hostiles hard. People will go back to grind if they find it worth it. Or just make all the loot the same so we can punch down like those at the top of the brackets. I honestly don't understand how this could've tested well. Until it's fixed, I won't bother with this feature.

Does anyone know why my dailies were different for fed/rom? I mine the same gas/ore and kill the same Klingon hostiles.
My rom/fed rep is almost equals but, killing 25 lvl 43 Klingons, mining 100k Gas/100k Ore should equal the dailies to be the same but, I only finish all ROM dailies and half fed dailies. They should both be halfway done at the same level.
These screenshots were taken before reset.
Now, after reset, they are both 125k Gas/Ore and kill 25 level 45 hostiles.

there's a few reputation levels that have non-obvious breakpoints in the middle where the dailies jumps up. 260m - within commended - is one such point
that also happens at 200k within favored, 1.2m within consort, 5m within associate, and 700m within glorified; i'm not sure about any such points in g5/g6 rep levels

So, to be fair, testing is hard enough when you have known parameters to work with, and I can't imagine the degrees of variation with levels of research, officer availability, etc that this game has.
But yeah, they need some standardised / averaged out accounts for low, medium and high progression that they can clone out to a test 😄
And probably low/med/high progress in each grade boundary

I absolutely agree but using an account that has maxed primes, favours, ship, officers,... to test the xindi loop seems a bad idea. With all the data they have I'm sure they can make median, minimum and maximum accounts to test stuff.

you can take vidar to 34 easily, but you do have to max it asap as you go upward, otherwise it lags badly in capability compared to saladin/etc
I could definitely see an argument of not pushing hard on g3 epics until 35 when you can get the better credit rfinery from the tally

The limit of 2k is on hostile kills. After that you get no loot or pve chests till it resets

Just confirmed. I upgraded 1 def platform and it raised my station pwr from about 523k to 955k. It also gave me ~225k player pwr too.
