given the time it takes to push a g3 epic into being of use against xindi or maybe silent enemies, my preference would be to use your g3 to accelerate to a good g4 uncommon, by scrapping saladins or bortas's or whatever to grow a kelvin/k'tinga/valdore/etc.

it'd be different if there were high 30's systems that pushed you out of, but in both cases the entry-level system is in the 40's, so i think just building the ship that's bigger out of the box to try and kill things with makes sense.

Scopely has the data to know folks are having to punch down cause they put in that mechanic, but yet there doesn't seem to be a fix to things. It does effect hostiles, but it would be almost irrelevant. Like if a hostiel has a 10% crit rate, you'd reduce it like 1.5%... but like these Secret hostiles, they've got a crit rate over 100% so it won't matter

I really don't understand why they bring a new grind loop every month. The community is talking for years, there are too many loops - they introduce Ex-Borg to reduce it after a long time of complaining. I have used the fantastic ability on my NX01 😂 to check crews and most are using Ent EPicard crew. Saw one using borg crew five/six and Khan and he was doing ok.
