@pearl trench clearly the disappearing act is bugged as it's only possible to do if you are very lucky and start the event with about 250 tetrions or buy a pack. It's challenging to finish within 2 days for some players. Tbh needs either a free gift of tetrions or extend the event to make it fair.

It's possible to complete if you had 245 or more tetryons before the event. Which is possible to get. Just needs some jiggling beforehand.

But the actual bug is that the description states "Initiate attack while cloaked", but it still requires a kill too. You will only score if you win.

And no Scopely, I'm not giving you ideas on how to MAKE it 100% pay to win. I'm giving you a free pass on this one, as it is theoretically doable. Genious actually

As I remember the earlier events of the same name, even the description stated to Defeat a hostile while cloaked to get 10 extra points. This time it was changed, but the effect seems to still be the old one..

Scopely, hire some people who know math. Even starting with 200 Tetryons and collecting the 65 when capacity was available, I did not complete event. Even with another 65 in 22 hrs, I will be unable to complete since 115 - 25 - 10 - 25 - 10 = 35 away from last milestone.

@errant mist 200 is the limit when you can't claim more. If you have 195 you can claim 65 more. If you had done this before the event, had 260 at the event start, you could easily complete the event.
It's a bit low blow, but doable event if you did your homework.

I had 200 to start, used it. Collected 65 more, cloaked and killed 2 more hostiles.

In 22 hrs, I can collect 65 more, which is 2 cloaks.

Okay, let me break it down for you.
If you had 245 at the event start, that is possible to get with the example I gave earlier.
You get two claims during the event which is 130 more tetryonss. 245+130=375 that will get you 15 cloaks with T1 ship that they gave us with the elite battlepass. Meaning 15x10 points 150.
375+150=525 points = event completed.

200 is the limit after which you can't claim more. You can claim 65 when you are at 195 maximum.

Same as borg cells, maximum 8, but you can claim 2 more when you have 7 and then you have 9.

I'm not saying it's really a nice way to make an event, as it pushes most players to either miss the final milestone or pay more. But on the same breath it's actually quite ingenious that they did leave it theoretically doable.

They are bad because they are unable to correctly implement the correct upper limit of 200 Tetryons. Fact is that you can only complete this event if you spent money or you exploit the bug of collecting more Tetryons as intended before the event started.

That is exactly the problem you get when you don't prioritize bug fixing. When it takes Scopely years to fix bugs, you never know what is an actual bug and what is intended.
This mechanic of going over the limit has been so long that everyone should know about it by now, but is it a bug or intended mechanic? Nobody knows. Probably no even Scopely themselves.

Ok so this has probably been noted but don’t feel like searching to see. One You need to rephrase the Protected Cargo Consumable. It does NOT give 100% pc. It looks like it it supposed to give 2x but instead only gives 1.5x the ships visual PC. Unless this is yet another item that can’t figure in research. Same goes for Rapheal DuPont. States 100% or 2x more pc. Does less then that. Really tired of the misleading descriptions.

Almost all bonuses are calculated on the base numbers. You can have bonuses to protected cargo from officers, research, exocomp, and territory services.
Formula to use is: base X (1 + sum of bonuses)

Yes but how am I to know the "base" start of my cargo for its tier before research? With out going to other sites to figure out. If I just look at the numbers I see 7676. Not the 3500 you state. Territory is different, that happens because the ship is killed while on zero and the opposing ship is not able to use the mine and so it stays zero. Outside of territory they're usually just bugged, or just not synched if you're lucky.

If you have a battle log from before we can certainly help narrow down the issue.
Most helpful answer you'll get though is that it's likely not worth stressing about, as strength is just a factor of the listed stats and doing research wouldn't actually reduce anything behind the scenes. Though you'd be surprised how people won't notice a territory service ending (and why these question are asked).
Or if you want a Scopely answer I think you'll need to send it in to customer support with before, after, and what research was actually completed (they'd probably want less detail than I would, but they're unlikely to give a satisfactory answer..). Scopely responses here are like hens teeth.

You had two shares left in the beginning of the event in total (as you can see on top of the item) and the timer you see now kicks in when you shared twice and reached the limit. In fact they set the cooldown timer after event end to prevent players from sharing more often.

For some reason every 1-2 weeks my app appears to restart as if i have just installed it on the phone.

Occasionally (not every time)
It forgets settings
It retains ship and officer progress but they appear as if newly acquired
Chat settings are forgotten
Arvhived missions are unarchived
Som completed missions/goals are restated

Theres probably more things that reset partially or completely

This is really getting tedious.

Nope. The issue is up till recently it was a 1.9mil power ship to finish that mission. One of the recent updates screwed up the power of the mission hostile.

Having to max a jelly to finish the mission is not reasonable, if it’s even true that it would kill it which I am not convinced. Neither are the level 42 4 star ships until high tiers, but the ship is only supposed to be a small fraction of 19 million. It’s supposed to be 1.9 million. The particle for the research is level 42, so the mission assumes you are at most level 41.

In order to receive alliance/server event rewards you must participate in them. 1 point is all that you need.
Though if you score in an alliance event and then leave that alliance you forfeit all rewards, even if you rejoin that same alliance.

When you get to Lvl 39 and are able to get Jelly … you will see just how much RSS/Mats/G4 parts and G4 uncommon parts it will take to max a Jelly. We have lvl 54’s that do not have maxed jelly’s. An 8-10m jelly is huge and will cost billions of rss!

it says 'complete' when an away teams assignment is done is says 'complete' then you click it to learn if its a success or fail. fails dont trigger the daily goal.

i know most ppl go for getting at least 100% but some are hard and if its your first (and unlikely but possibly only) of the day then you wont get the daily done.

Yes Tango I did I spent one 1hr on trying to score points I killed 220 swarms clusters and did not get 1 point for doing it. I don't just report something just to do it. When you miss out on rewards because a bug in the game it sucks

It's not removing 1 digit.. strength is determined by a formula that takes into account DPR (which is in turn driven by weapon damage, crit chance and crit damage), piercing stats, mitigation stats, shield health and hull health. 1 or more of these stats will need to be adjusted to lower the strength, and no one here has even identified which of the stats were bolstered..
The dev team need to adjust the underlying stats, and then make sure that the changes are effected for players who already have the mission hostile (alternatively it will work for only those who get it after any fix).

If it would have been so, there is no possibility to be attacked. I rather guess your 4hr shield dropped without you noticing it, the guy attacked your base, you went online and see the rest (2 minutes) of the auto shield. If you think that's wrong you might try contacting customer support so that they can maybe check their logs.

Seems to be a bug with the ultra recruit chests. Not always getting 12 pulls. Sometimes its only 9 or 10. With the new update it says guaranteed 12 shards.

You get 12 shards in total. If you get 11 pulls, you receive 10x 1 shard and 1x 2 shards and so on.

So this is the second time we got a 50% ally mining exocomp running. Same as last time the bonus did not work on g4 nodes for some reason. g3 and g5 nodes do work tho.

My usual miner does 40k/hr on g4 ore. Nothing changed.

I do not believe that the Faction Pure RSS buffs in the Galaxy Research tree are working. Specifically Romulan Pure Ore. I will check the others... My current buffs for Ore are : Pure Ore (Galaxy) Lvl 1 (2%), Efficient Ship Upgrades (Territory) Lvl 6 (25%), Ship Component Efficiency (Outlaw) Lvl 3 (7%), Romulan Pure Ore (Galaxy) Lvl 3 (4%). The total for my Ore only buffs is 34%. The Romulan Ore buffs should be 38%. The upgrade I am using as an example is my Tier 7 Augur Armor upgrade. The base Ore cost for this upgrade is 12250. Divide this by 1.34 and get 9142. Divide by the 1.38 and get 8876. The cost of the upgrade in game is 9142. It seems that the Romulan Pure Ore Buff is not working.

The faction specific bonuses are not reflected in the client, they weren't able to get it to work properly when they turned all of them on, but the correct lower amount is still taken by the server.

For those of you waiting on a patch to end of the Beginning submit in details with screen shots the issue through the bug reporting in game and they can skip your through it. Thats what they did for me to resolve the issue instantly. Took less then an hour for them to do. Just make sure you give them a ss of player ID and the issue with screen shots and they should be able to take care of it.

AFTER LATEST UPDATE: When warping between systems my ship shows path movement across the system line(Galaxy Map). The ship then disappears and is lost in limbo. When I use "locate" it zooms to the target system but not inside the system as it should. If I hit "Recall" it says my ship is already docked. I need to restart the game each time to locate my ship. Found a bug with Pike and certain officers while raiding today. Tier3 Antares, 787K cargo capacity. If you have Pike as captain and Borg Stonn on the bridge, when you look at your ship's status the cargo hold is shown as being 1.249M. But you can't fill it; you still only get 787K per raid hit.

Yeah, I checked the math and compared it with mental recollection of what I saw, and by my best recollection, the display is actually correct if one assumes that the Antares' cargo hold was being boosted from 787K to 1102K by Four of Ten Eleven, but being incorrectly DISPLAYED as further boosted to about 1250K by Pike boosting Four's ability. (Which he doesn't.)

That'd be about right, depending on what other bonuses you might have in effect. You'd need to do a with/without 4 on board, outside of the station to avoid potential issues with faction cargo research, and then make sure he fills up the stated amount without Pike.

Unfortunately, there is no technical option to restore private chats. That hurts. In my case: I currently have 8 unread messages, but only 5 active chats, and all of them are read. So I have no idea who sent me those messages. The only way to find out who wrote me is currently to manually and randomly open a chat to a player in a simple trial-and-error method and hoping to find those unread messages somewhen.
I totally understand that chats should be archived from time to time, but we need the option to manually archive them as well as to restore them. Please please please - could you fix that somehow? (That would make the cruel chat system a bit less cruel ;D )

You were destroyed so you only brought back your protected cargo. The screen showing what you "lost" is what was taken by the other player, until they hit their cargo limit. The rest is lost to space.

Most of the primes are released as paid for only content originally, you can start getting these ones from ops 34 F2P now by scrapping level 26 faction ships (usually a Mayflower for the gas, but there are other primes and options).

You'd need to contact customer support in-game.
Though likely it's the usual big where it double counts the shards added to the total when you've had a full pull and subsequent shards. I.e. you got 115 full pull + 1 additional, you had 30 to begin with, and instead of showing +116 (146) it shows +115x2 (260). Pretty common really.

SHIP CLOAKING doesn't work correctly. I have cloaked Bortas timer of 5 min kicked in, l killed a hostile and I lost 4min of cloak. I killed other hostiles but this kills don't count towards daily goal! So l have to cloak 3x to complete the daily!

Does anyone have noticed some officers have discrepancies in their stats?

There are some cases where this should happen.
When viewed in the officer menu while not on a ship, or in the away mission assignment screen, they will show their base stats. As opposed to when on a ship or in the ship crew assignment screen where they will show total stats.
You'll also find that there are some bonuses that only apply when on the bridge or as captain, and some abilities from other officers on the bridge the can boost stats.
All of this leads to varying stats being displayed, depending when, where and how they're viewed.

I think mine might be more than that even.
To know if it's correct is hard to say though, as there are many bonuses to consider. The academy building, prime officers, attack/defense training, a general set under away missions research, officer conditioning, as well as exocomps and (I think) territory bonuses.
But yes, what you're looking at is the first instance I described. In the officer screen and not on a ship (base stats) vs the ship crew assignment screen (total stats).

Yes. Including all bonuses (though some bonuses are applied only when on a ship, so they can increase further from the crew assignment screen once you put them on the ship).

There's a visual glitch that's occurred, twice that I know of and this, shown in the ss, is the first time I've seen it myself. Both times involve only survey ships. The game shows a survey ship is targeting your survey ship. Which has gotten me blown up for appearing to target them. 🤣

I've seen that bug LOTS of times. Sometimes it's been surveys "targeting" me. Sometimes it's been friendly ships. Once it was one of my OWN ships. It seems to be a symptom of memory leaks in the game client. Restart the game and it'll go away.

The ticked War Preparations: Peak Performance event isn't counting faction token spend towards milestones. Pretty sure it's broken. Just spent 160 fed credits for 1000 fed recruit tokens and spent those, along with 500 Klingon rectruit tokens, and 12,300 augment credits on officer shards. Nothing counted towards mile stones.

In the Event Mission Liberation Part 4 we are told to destroy 10 hostiles of level 33 or higher in the Azati system. The game does not count hostiles of level 33 towards this requirement. Only hostiles of level 34 or higher count. The instructions need correcting. Does anyone play test the output from Scopely before it is put into the game?
