can't defend against a close-by raider anymore...by the time the ship hitting the base is targetable, it's too much time to try to cycle through to get it before it's home again

Attacker wants station to be priority, defenders want the ships. A toggle would be ideal

all it takes is one high-level guy to cover the raid by camping over the base, adding to the number of targets to cycle and also preventing you from bringing your defending ship out earlier

Hello! I am having an issue with COW today. Just after reset this morning I joined my alliance. I was very careful not to attack any hostiles prior to accepting my invite so I could score in cow. That said, everything went fine for my alliance leaderboard which I am scoring for and will receive rewards on the monthly alliance page. However, it is not picking me up for theiance milestone page. Clearly I joined the alliance before scoring any points in cow or I would not be bake to score for alliance board

does anyone know if the prime latinum refinery from yhe galaxy tree research is broken ? we compared two players using the same dvor t8 . one has prime lat refinery the other doesnt. both get the same yield from the latinum refinery : 1050/day plus dvor parts.

T9 pays 1000 lat for the double, so sounds like it's working for both of them (or the one without is confused..).
T8: 350 Latinum, 700 for a double, plus 50% for the prime (350) = 1050.

Since then and with completion of Arc, I spent the remaining momentos on an entire Hydra refit and several Beverly and Riker shards. Now today I get this ...

All messages with them were lost when I did the reinstall, around the Sept. 24. Now they want me to consider buying a $49 pack and waste 15 of the shards ... very angry.

It be easy to reverse the officer shards to fix, but convo already closed ... again.

I am not accumulating ship XP for hostile kills. This is especially irritating given I activated an exocomp for +100% in ship xp. I have tried killing different types of hostiles and my ship xp balance remains the same. Makes me wonder how long this has been going on and I haven’t been getting credit.

The amount of xp a ship has towards its next level. And the ship xp level in the items inventory are the same number 11.5k . Neither has increased as i have now killed several different hostiles with several different ships

Just making sure you're not looking at the item, that happens.
And you're sure that your ship isn't at max level for its tier already? With the exception of the upgrade screen it will still show an amount of XP required for the next level, but will never add to the XP if it's not tiered first.

Correct. Ship XP from killing hostiles only adds to the XP for that ship up to the ship's level level cap by tier*.
If you want to get anything else you need the ship XP item, which you can occasionally get as a loot drop, but this isn't increased by ship XP boosts.

You will not get a satisfactory answer, people have been trying since the first military supremacy event. Only some players will get it, the exact criteria is unknown, and Scopely's only advice so far is that (to paraphrase) we don't meet the criteria and it is working as intended.
Though I believe an upper limit has been identified, might be after 39 you never get the event.

In station the cargo is higher than what it's supposed to be, due to some researches incorrectly being applied on the client that shouldn't be.
Specifically this is about the faction specific cargo increases.
It's a known issue that will hopefully be fixed at some point so it shows the correct values in station.

Not a solution to the underlying problem, but to get your shields up at least have you tried inside station view to see if the button re-appears (this sometimes happens to me and this works), or going to your Inventory, Other, clicking on the desired shield length and hitting "activate".

I have an inssue with bookmarks not saving. Started about 3 game updates ago where I get a message saying bookmark not saved, please try again. The bookmark shows on the list but on game restart, my old bookmarks return. I delete all the bookmarks, save a new one, same error, same issue when i restart - all the old ones return. I have tried this on my iphone, ipad and my PC and all of them have the same issue. No one else in my server seems to have this problem afaik from a GC broadcast to ask. Mk3 cargo bay will have protected cargo of 3200, plus the T3 bonus of 6000 (+3000 per additional tier for Antares), for a total base protected cargo of 9200. Best way to find this information is from one of the player run services, such as stfc.space
Additional protected cargo will be from various bonuses in effect,.

if you've done the Mk4 cargo upgrade it will be 3335 instead of 3200, so not much difference there either.

I am not sure if this is a bug or intended, but cloaking is not invisible to enemies. Messing with a rival alliance and they could still see me on the map but not able to click on or attack me while cloaked. At the same time I was actually invisible to my own alliance members. Attack bonus from cloak seemed to be working. Unlocked cloaking for the D4 and had them follow me around the map. They could read my name while cloaked as well.

Just went into rare armada chest and got a payment failure. The rare armada tokens were pulled, but did see if the transaction was completed.

It's just another aspect of it, people have been working around it since the beginning (though it used to be only 5 minutes, extended due to issues with notifications, and used to reset the cooldown if you attacked someone).
So you hit a station, then check on it after 10 minutes. If the shield is down then you can choose to finish the job (assuming they're not playing possum), if it's not then they're online and have activated a longer shield.

So to work around the timing issues, you have arbitrarily added 10 secs. I see when there are two on the same armada, there is a 10 second gap, when there is three, there is 10 between each of them, that is why some of them when they start it is more than 15 minutes. How does this address the timing issue when people start at almost the same time? It only confuses people more. And you are still going to get CS reports to recover the directives.

More properly, it’s poor synchronization performance. But asynchronous sync is hard, demand too much and your game disconnects as soon as a whole two packets are dropped.

I think the solution is a later-stage validation that by the time the server has heard of both - if armadas started within seconds of each other, throw the “armada already in progress, dingus” popup and give players option to cancel and recoup directives.

That said, if you don’t get the warning and wind up stacking an armada, reach out to CS and I’ve seen them restore directives in cases where you really had no way to tell one was running.

When mining if a faction hostile hits the ship mining no rep is given. When the miner is off the mine and gets hit rep is given. Here are today's screenshots. Let patrols hit yourself while mining makes no real sense to me.

Might be intentional. If you got rep rewards from destroyed ships when mining, you would presumably also get rss rewards... and might be disappointed to fill up parsteel instead of what you are trying to mine.

Only if conditions allow it to be checked. Unless they changed it to only be on success, which i doubt with how broken the log still is.

If the ability can't be used against the target, like using T'laan against energy only hostiles, then it won't be listed (with some rare exceptions). Otherwise if it's listed it has met the criteria for the ability/maneuver to activate, not that it has simply done a check against it.
This doesn't always lead to anything happening, like Chang activating after all weapons have been fired already (he proc'd, but is incapable of having any impact), or morale when it's already active (it's successfully proc'd, but can't do anything because the effect is already active.
With exceptions of specific officers like 6of10 which incorrectly list in scenarios where they are unable to activate, listed ability = proc. This has always been this way, otherwise you'd get every round with Kirk listing morale because he checks every round; instead he only lists morale when he procs.

I’m on Server 33. The scoring for the honor guard warf is completely screwed up!!! I upgraded defense platform D to level 35 and got the 4+ million points, which is correct. But I just promoted Kang and Charvanik to tier 3 and upgraded them to level 15, and upgraded Marcus 16-20… all my points except for 13k are gone now?!?! Wth!!!! It says 5 points per officer intel spent, not minus 5!!!

Anyone else notice that when Chen is captain, that ship cannot participate in base raids once the defenses are down? The attack is cut short, as though interrupted by another ship. Attacks are not registered in the battle logs and resources are not collected.

I want them to remove the minus points they sunk so many of us with!!! There is no way they can’t just reverse that flow of points. You don’t have to remove a portion of the event that helps you score—you have to remove the negative points! It’s so easy. Just toggle the other way. That would make everyone whole again and place them where they should be on the points board! If someone assumed the points came from Officer XP and not Officer power (which officers get every single time the level up anyway) then that’s on them. But give us positive points only!!!

Node scoring seems to be on the fritz on EU131. We had 56 ships in Helvi and all nodes covered. Scored 56 points at first minute. After some people refreshed, we scored 104.

If you start an eclipse armada, and directly start to type in AC, your ship won’t leave its current position.

Confirmed by three players on server 131.

Waiting till your ship left and then type is the work around.

Are you carrying Scopely’s water? Let’s be real - the game has nearly zero documentation, mostly because they are too cheap to hire people other than grade D programmers, god forbid they hired a technical writer or two, and maybe also because they cannot manage to program in alignment with what little they do write down. When they tout that the Hacked D3 is ‘collectable’ and ‘special’ but then leave hacked ships out of the ship specific pvp events in the past, and now with cloaking, they are actually not making the ship collectible or special - its a dead end. The only thing that makes a hacked ship different is its image and use of plut for upgrades - its stats are otherwise identical.

This is not just me, several other people in my alliance have noticed the same thing: About two days ago it suddenly became MASSIVELY harder to get above, or even TO, 100% completion chance on an away team (and a multipler above 1x). Prior to the past two days I was routinely able to get to 1.7x, 1.8x, even once or twice a 2.0 miltiplier. In the past two days, using exactly the same officers (some of them now leveled up or with more traits unlocked), I have not managed to get a single away team above 96%.

Did You already contact customer support? Maybe try deleting localization data in-game and the app cache before. If you cannot recall a ship you have to contact them anyways.

Can’t seem to meet up with Worf for the start of duality part 1. I am new so pardon my ignorance. Says it requires a warp of level 26 to reach it. I purchased a jellyfish and max tiered it. Me and family couldn't get ID to work either so could get in PC.. Mine finally did. Tried to see if would work on their tablet. Got in. They got locked out completely when I signed in on their tablet. Their ID would not work. I put issue in comments with my still open help chat with them. He got password reset email. But now....my game account opens up when he signs in and he still can't get his own game back. My game opens for both our IDs and game names. Arrrgh

sorry if I am teaching you to suck eggs, but each account is set to default on a device on login. If you want to change account you need to go settings --> general --> switch account and then login to your account. Sadly on boot up the game will always default to the last played account.

@candid pier you can have the same game account linked to multiple scopely IDs. I managed to connect two emails to one game account also. Both scopely IDs worked in the sense that they could both successfully log in to the game that was connected, it just wasn't the game I intended. Rather than contact support and fix it, as I had another way to login to the second account, I logged back into the correct game account using google play games connection and then created another scopely ID with a third email address, all from the phone.

AFAIK once a game account is linked to an email address then there would be no way to remove that connection without support doing it for you.

From memory the jellyfish incorrectly shows an increase in Scotty's officer ability (only increases maneuver). This is true even if he's not captain.
So it will be showing a higher warp than actually available. Take him off the bridge, note the warp range, and manually add cadet Scotty's bonus to work out the actual range.

Further to this: I just managed to get a Collective Bargaining away team to 1.12x. To do it I had to pull my three highest-health officers out of my best crews. That's ridiculous. Away Teams was supposed to be a feature to put your idle officers to use, not a feature to deny you the use of your BEST ones.

All of the people I know of who are having this problem, myself included, just reached ops 30 in the last few days. It's been suggested this is an intentional level-based difficulty ramp-up, but if so, it's less like hitting a ramp than it is like running at full speed face-first into a concrete wall.

How about your researches? And also I would suggest to try a different crew. Check crews.noraia.de/?site=missionen for crews. It's in German but the pictures speak their own language.
Maybe your ships needs to be tiered up as well. Level 30 Enterprise at Ops 41 might look a little weak. At 41 in our server ships look stronger. But this can server dependent.

I thought that it was a lag and I had to press it again and again… but each time I pressed to activate it consumed one. At the end I’ve spent all of my increase build and research speed exocomps and I had to restart the game to show it activated ….

I try rares, yes. I usually prioritize shorter missions so that I can complete more without having officers tied up as long. Right now I'm looking at a 12-hour Accelerated Bioforming that I have two epic officers and a rare on (Carol Marcus with Scientist maxed and another trait unlocked, Nero, and Krell), and I'm at 91%. I have a terraforming expedition with Alexander Marcus and two rares on that actually got to 1.36, a xenoarchaeology trip with Kang, Mara and Yuki that I couldn't get above 99%, and a Stellar Cartography that I actually reached 1.48 on with Charvanek.
This time last week ALL of these missions would be in the 1.7 to 1.8 range. I have a Form Trade Agreement rare away team open to me right now, and to get it to 100% I've got to pull three of my highest-health leveled officers off ships (Bones, Kerla and Livis).

The tier of traits doesn't impact the overall percentage but only the pushes the chance for critical success. So it's important to tier and level up your officers and push them with research as well. That's why I asked for that. I'm facing exactly the same situation and doing it the same way than you. Doing common and uncommon missions is fine too for getting the stuff needed for research. But I wouldn't call it a bug.

i know i can bridge 100% more boss ship power abusing leslie moreau kirk using the enterprise. Sometimes with double / tripple tapping the boss in addition with the jelly. But there is no way this can be the regular 41 mission boss in the MAIN mission chain.

The problem here is that i have alliance members who completed the same mission 2 weeks ago with a weaker boss and one additional member who got the mission 1 week ago with the same boss as me. So this has to be a bug from the recent release

Yeah, I know traits only affect crit chance. But the fact remains the same officers seem to suddenly be giving me little more than half as much contribution to success percentage that they were last week. As I said, if that is a planned and intentional level-related difficulty ramp, then it's a MURDEROUSLY steep one. I've managed to get three away missions over 1x yield in the past four days.
And I mean, sure, I'd LOOOOOOOVE to just max all of my officers this morning in between tasks at work, if I had the shards and the officer exp to do it, but I don't — and I'm prioritizing my best officers that I use most for spending EXP on, because, well, they're my best officers and I only have so much to go around.

With a 6.8m jelly you are definitely able to make it. Did you try a double or tripple attack. Let your second strongest ship hit the hostile and then hit immediately again, so that the hostile cannot regenerate it's shield.
