I'm not sure this qualifies as a bug so much as a way to seriously annoy alliance members. BUT
Can I ask what the purpose of preventing someone from seeing the cargo or ship or station status of a alliance member is? Everyone else can see, why not fellow members of the same alliance?

It just forces us to act without even knowing if a fellow members cargo hold in his station is empty while he's being raided.

Good morning

I would like to bring to your attention that the War Without, War Within ( lv 35-36) event in the Sirius System for PvP also includes players from lv37-49 who score event points in the SAME system.

How on earth is that possible and fair for LV 35 players such as myself to compete against ships from much more powerful players.

Are they not supposed to have their own sytems for the PvP event?
It's absolutely pointless to take part in it and waste repairs and RSS knowing that a lv49 player will intercept my ship therefore deny me an opportunity to earn event rewards.

Is see this as a bug or issur but others may not. For the periodical daily event of upgrading officers if you teir an officer that uses normal experience you get credit. But for the borg you don't get the credit when they tier cauae they use nano probes.

I just tiered both my 9 of 10 and my Ariam and only got the credit for Ariam

Pts are only registered when you unload your ship back at base it's a collect event not mining event you can also hit opl miners and unload at base to score

Unity BP is not an alliance event, it's a milestone event just for you.

You can't have both your old alliance its rewards and your new alliance its rewards. You get what you got up to that point and no more because you left the old alliance that you were in when you started.

On server 32, I was playing in the Tezera takeover. It was a nightmare. Ships would be commanded to attack, move to the target, then turn around and head back to the original spot. Lag was constant. Ships would reach the target, then suddenly head in another direction. The target ship would be heading that direction.

The advanced romulan has a fed pic (display error)
None say extraction federation.

@tender thorn it's actually a translation error. If you change your language settings to English you'll see the correct text.
Though if you have mined gas and it hasn't counted then that's a separate bug.

The bug has nothing to do with translation, I play sometimes in english or spanish because the bad translations, anyway like I said I extracted the gas, and this is not the first time that I finish a task and I didn't got the bonus. Sometimes I got it after restarting the game and some times I need to do the task again.

This time is more evident because game give me the bonus for the 5k task and miss at least this 5k in the 25k one.

Two different bugs is the thing @tender thorn
You have a translation bug where it has the wrong faction and material listed, and also a bug where it isn't counting your mined material.
I can address the first one, sadly no good answer on the second.

Why is it that every time an event that requires killing hostiles, the game is more unstable then it normally is. Trying to do the hostile hunt, 1 round of killing before repair, game crashed like 30 times in like 10-15 min, took way to long and attacked by fighters which showed me down. I haven’t seen anywhere on game to create a ticket or help.

I’m having the WORST GAME LAGS EVER and reported it in the in-app support with screenshots but only got a response that “the key words of my report were the same as most of the other complaints of many players” so they’ll just share my report with the others. Then continued on saying that they’re closing the ticket for that report I made but if I have any other issues just open a new ticket!!!

Wth was that response??! Don’t we deserve better kind of answer? The lags are terrible.

I'm getting multiple errors. Can't login, retry, error 429, etc. Can't view systems to travel. 10 minute chest's cause game to freeze. Restarting game isn't helping, can take over five minutes to load. Help requests are freezing the game. Hitting hostiles is causing the game to freeze. Getting into perpetual battles with hostiles. I'm going to miss battle pass points because of this. I'm trying to play and have patience, but this is getting unbearably frustrating. I am unable to play the game. Please put us into a shutdown until you can get whatever is wrong fixed. And now I'm I'm getting default error 6 while trying to hunt hostiles. Default error 2 while trying to locate ship in new system. Server 15.

As alluded to by Nemo, the timer that is showing on that node is the timer for the currently selected ship (Legionary I believe) to either deplete the mine or fill the available cargo space, which at a mining rate of 567 hour and 1144 remaining will take 2.018 hours, or 2 hours 1 minute 3.5 seconds. It has nothing to do with how long until that mine is actually depleted unless that ship is also mining that node, and will as such decrease in time remaining rapidly as the ship mining it will be mining at a higher rate than your legionary is able to.

@hardy trench was using my battleship and miner to search for zeros and opc. Battleship I search first due to level of difficulty when I was switching back to my miner there seems to be a lag of approximately 2 min. On timer adjustments when switching from warship to miner. If that's doesn't make sense then all I can say is the lag is still an issue in game.

the Below officers it says;

Pike, Captain maneuver.. 100% increase of officers abilities

Geffory Hadley officer ability is 30% increase to xp
so combined why isn't the xp increasing by 100%

So why is it that Geffory Hadley + Pike do not = more than Pike + Hadley as side-cards with Monreau as captain???

you also need to be careful looking at XP gains in battle, the little text that floats up from system view is lagging behind. You'll instead want to look at the quick popup during the battle report.

the base XP increase should work for both, but the ability isn't one that activates during battle which means that Pike's maneuver won't increase it @fossil wigeon

@fossil wigeon because it doesn't 🤷‍♂️ any officer ability that isn't activated as a part of the battle is not increased by Pike. This ability is outside of the battle and so is not increased by Pike's maneuver.
This is also true for officers like cadet Scotty, Stonn and T'pring: these officers will actually show on your client as being increased, but on the server where it actually matters they are not increased by Pike.
And while we're talking about the oddities of Pike, his maneuver actually works at twice the stated benefit.
Now why Scopely don't have a description that's the same as Bones', why it shows an increase where there isn't one, why the increase is wrong: Scopely 🤷‍♂️ but this is how it works, and how it has worked for as long as I'm aware. I did state that Pike will not work from the outset though.

Notice anything wrong with this picture? Our alliance tried to join the takeover. I pressed the join button and then on the next screen did as well. I then got a pop up error box that I had to confirm out of. We then did not show up on the takeover list as you can see, but we did not have the join takeover button/option anymore. Yes we had way more than enough iso to join. Nobody else was joining the takeover and we had worked out deals to get this territory. Been 4 days and no response from scopely except to ask for a screen shot of the error.

@granite temple PvP range varies by level, it increases noticeably as you level up more.
If you were hit by someone who is outside of your PvP range though there are 2 possible explanations:

you're in a territory where PvP range is removed.
they leveled up since they hit you (new level still show in the reports).

He reduces the enemy weapon damage. Ie. The value that is listed in the weapon slots in the upgrade page, the min/max values.

However, this is the base damage that gets multiplied by research/abilities etc etc.

Ie if your enemy augur normally hits you for 600k with obliterator, he would reduce it by the 80k or so of the weapon value, not the 600k of the total

#

This is also why it goes up to 200% with max synergy

This is also how the abilities that affect crew offence/defence/stats work... on the base

Often those reductions get "lost" in the variation between min and max damage.
To verify you would have to plot average damage per round per weapon across X number of fights and compare that with a set of with Lorca and one without.
Of course has to be same ship, same crew etc.

Warp path chosen is the shortest route available for your available warp range, but multiple paths do exist and if your ship has insufficient range for any of them it will show the shortest path without regard for range.

It seems that activating zone services subtracts the required resources from the inventory contributions of the activating commodore or admiral. This seems like a bug, as this is mixing up accounting for use of pooled alliance resources with individual contributions to the pool.

I'd opened a support ticket because my contributions seemed unreasonably low, and I've since had another admiral on a server check her contribution before and after activating a bunch of services. She goes from having contributions on the ledger to showing as unranked for lack of contribution.

Don't know if it is a bug or not, but I Leveled up to 27 so I could get the Stella from the Event store and it didn't show up, then did 16 researches to get the stella research done, and it still isn't showing up. All of the other ships show up 1 level before you can build them, and I did have the lvl 28 faction ships add to the store when I leveled up, so I know it updates. Please help, really want the Stella before the Event store is gone.

Reinstalled game without the update and the problem disappears and all is good. Reapply the update and same problem.

If anybody else has the issue with the mirror mirror mission that I did, where you do the mission chain once and then have no option to redo it, no mirror keys in your inventory or ability to repurchase the mission anywhere... don't bother contacting scopely support. Also, don't waste your event tokens on the missions.

@mild timber I'm just a helpful know it all, can't fix it unfortunately.
The latter sounds like lag or connectivity issues to be honest. I used to get it all the time when I let my phone switch between WiFi and 4G, much better since disabling WiFi. On Android you may be able to minimise and reopen the app too, I can't speak to your specific phone but oftentimes this will force a refresh without restarting the app (sometimes it will restart, sometimes it won't fix it, most of the time though it works for me; worth a try).

@iron tendon just a thought.. do you have another ship that requires a greater amount of common ore that you can use to purchase it through? That is to click on the ore and get the purchase option, but don't do the upgrade. I'm guessing there's a research being counted by the client that perhaps shouldn't be..

I don't have them all in front of me, if this isn't the same number I can go and look for other research that may be overlooked, or someone else can offer suggestions. Though also check what it would be without the Territory bonus, if it works out on that number than you'll likely have an issie.

Why hasn't scopely dealt with the officer shard draw bug? If i draw a shard i already have maxed... it turns into officer XP. Except the XP always further reduces the shard total by a random amount. I'd rather disable the officer xp conversion than lose officer shard pulls. Too many premium recruit pulls net me zero shards, because the first card pulled is maxed, and i get nothing after the xp.

Lvl 27 exchange transports are not counting as eclipse hostiles for the Stella research, I have evidence of this in battle logs where the lvl 27 with have 4 shots in the first round while when attacking a lvl 28 there are the correct 16 shots

Hello. since 5 days there are extreme problems on server EU-132. the game stutters, no battle animation, constantly error message when you want to attack a hostile, mines do not refresh, ships do not log in on mines, constantly you have to restart so that it is halfway playable. According to the players in the galaxy chat, the problem affects everyone on the server. There has been no feedback from ingame support so far.

I have noticed when I activate a buff, my alliance leaderboard territory inventory score goes negative. I couldn’t figure out why my score was always so low when I max refine every cycle. I activate 12 buffs per week so all this time it’s been taking from my score???? I asked around and other admiral/commodores have noticed the same thing and didn’t understand why their scores was low. I confirmed it the last 2 times I activated buffs. I completely fell off the board both times.

@pale carbon poor choice of wording from a mod (not Scopely), not a bug. Advice from Scopely devs early on, which I'm sure has been repeated several times by the community, was that whenever attempting to start a takeover the game will check that zone and your current zones to ensure that they are contiguous, which means that reconnecting a territory is a-ok (provided that there is only 1 missing territory). I'm sure @native oyster can update the FAQ for you though.

This from scopely CS is wildly unacceptable to a glitch that said an alliance joined a takeover, but they weren't actually joined so no points were counted. My alliance has been doing some armadas lately and we’ve noticed that on the 2nd attempt, the armada has started the battle with shields down. The galaxy map shows the armada’s shield as regenerated, but the battle log shows no damage to shields and all the other non-mitigated damage going to the hull. Is this WAI?

@grizzled hearth you would be probably breaking the rules of this Discord, so better to seek your own legal represetation without involving this discord. However the ToS for the game do indicate several important things:

you do not own anything, you have a limited and revocable licence for use only.
digital items have no real world value.
Scopely can basically do whatever they with these items and they will owe you nothing.
For your specific issue, it sounds like event store purchases? Most blueprints will have a limit on how many you can get per event store, providing that it's not something like a level requirement that you've moved away from. You will just need to wait for the next event store. This isn't uncommon, many ships require multiple event stores to complete.

I don't believe Scopely offers support for bluestacks as it's not a real platform but a google android emulator and will most likely say it's the emulator that's at fault and not the game

@plucky crag I tried really hard to understand virtualization, I don't know that much about compsci so I can't help too much. Look up windows 10 virtualization and see if you can solve it. If you can, please get back to me!

Every time I looked into solving that problem, I just was going too far into the unknown for me and I was getting afraid I'd brick the computer. It was asking me to go into the settings during startup but I didn't fully understand what they were.

Server 25 is having major server sync issues. Warp timers are off for all ships. Npc ships are not updating their locations properly and phantom ships are left in the game after they are killed. Often the combat animations are not being shown. Collecting chests are not showing the rewards and the screen just hangs.

The alliance territory resources leaderboard is bugged (Alliance -> territory -> Inventory -> dashboard). If you are a commodore / admiral and SPEND the resources, the points are subtracted from your score. This means as an alliance leader it's hard to track who is adding what. Please make it so only contributions, rather then spend are included.

Combat has been difficult: target a ship, ship arrives at intersect, no battle animation and nothing else to indicate that battle has begun or finished. Have to retarget and attempt to attack and get error message just to confirm battle. Unable to target hub systems for base relocate (2nd screenshot).

Got attacked and recieved no notification until an hour after the initial attack. I lost 30M Parsteel, 14M Tritanium and 3M Dilithium this time around. This lack of notifications is completely unacceptable, it has been at least 3 times that I've been attacked repeatedly and not recieved a single notification until an hour later. I'm in Server 49

Hey friend, the notification problem has affected all of us. I get it, I've been hit before and lost around 70M rss. Scopley unfortunately won't do anything because there's no way to prove you didn't get a notification. I'm really sorry this happened to you

It's a good idea to get in the habit of setting timers, shields, etc. to help yourself because stuff can go wrong. I had to uninstall and reinstall the game for the notifications to work again. Hopefully that helps

Captains Log: Day 2 in this strange mirror world. No contact from Q or Scopely or whoever it was that put my here. I have found out from the locals that it is called Binar or server 57. Building up to L7 but it’s a far cry from the L33 I had attained on Sever 31. Lorca was in our grasp but I fear he may have been lost in the events of today. Perhaps the Spore drive of the discovery has had an effect on the Saladins impulse drive causing this crossover. We may never know.

In case you don't notice. The icons are in the wrong place and some have the wrong color.

For example, REPAIR SPEEDUP has a Romulan icon and the actual repair icon is in FEDERATION POINTS...in Federation colors and silhouette

To get these results all you need to to is select the Faction PvE, from the dailies list

Yes, Lorca appears to be broken. Doesn't mention type of opponent, but Captain ability triggered for players, for mission bosses, but not triggered for hostiles. "Triggered" (mentioned in the log), but no difference to actual damage received. 😫

You will need a lot more than that one line of damage to show that he's not working @mighty dust
Remember that most players will have large bonuses to damage, and in some cases the amount of damage reduced by Lorca will actually be less than the natural damage variance of the weapon..

What of not triggering at all against hostiles, while the hull breach was definitely applied (Mara triggers)?

When is the issue with ships not disappearing and, not showing the attack sequence going to be addressed 3 days now the game has had this issue and, it's not even in the discussion can hop from hostile to hostile and, get credit for them but, as soon as you forget which ones you've hit you get a course correction error message and, the stupid game freezes up.

@mighty dust it's base, like everything else in the game. My ship has +300% damage on it, the sarcophagus starts with + 86,000% damage. Taking away 100% isn't a big deal in most cases.
And general consensus is that this is a PvP ability only, though no confirmation has come from Scopely AFAIK (not a big surprise).

Ok, I can understand the argument on damage, but Lorca is still not working against hostiles, so still broken. The description does not specify the type of opponent, and he's in the log for mission boss.

Sorry, I take that right back. Not in log for a boss, so it's player only. The description is wrong then. I guess that's the only wrong they'll admit to, but with some reason he'd be way overpowered otherwise.

50/50. We already have up to 96% damage reduction for energy only hostiles, plus 71.2% (maximum) mitigation. Lorca would only be like.. 60-65% average damage reduction at rank 1, though at higher ranks and mixing with Chen/T'laan could get pretty OP otherwise yes.
What does it say if you click on his icon in the battle report screen? I think this might have been a case of them having it in the smaller description and not the full description 🤔 but I don't have any offers for him to be able to click on..

Makes me think I shouldn't back down from the hostiles thing, because the distinction of players Vs hostiles Vs any is so important and usually spelled out very explicitly. They should have used "players" here if that was the intent.

I keep going to territory space, showing my ship having arrived, go to view the space and see my ship navigating the system for a brief period before the game kicks me back to the map and says I have no ship or station in the system. It can take up to 5 attempts before the system actually lets me see my ship activity and by then I can be dead.

At one point, my ship had finished travelling across the system and was stationary and I was STILL getting kicked out

Yeah sounds like communication issues, normally happens with loads of ships in the same system or when there is a large raiding party but can happen any time

Okay this is getting to be a problem.
No amount of game resets fixes this now.
The victory notification is always there now.
I can't get rid of it in any way shape or form.
Tried everything. Deleting the app and reinstall it.
Cleared game data.
Resetting the app. First thing i tried.

I am getting constant error in following condition. I have Intrepid ship with Cadet Scotty on bridge which shows as warp 54. I am trying to send ship to a system Archanis showing as “warp 52 required”, but I keep getting the error “the warp path you specified is invalid”. Any thoughts?

If so: pike only actually works in abilities that activate during combat, like Bones, however the client incorrectly calculates bonuses as if he always works. So it will show up to an extra 3 range with Pike, Moreau and Cadet Scotty, but the extra is a lie.

Recently i get reports from my players that eventhough they put shield they were raided. Is the shield bug back again. Server 158. They are now making screenshots when they shield for proof

Once you activate a shield, you get that toast notification about shielding... Sometimes lag can cause it to appear like you have shielded but it isn't the case

But if you really shielded, you get that notification

I think there is something messed up with the event progress counter. It reports scoring with delay. In addition today I failed to get the final milestone reward from Heroic officer reqruitment event. Game just gets better and better. 😆
