I progressed far enough i the BATTLE pass to unlock both missions, that being ODD SHAPES ON THE HORIZON as well as LET MY PEOPLE GO.
I chose to first click to accept LET MY PEOPLE GO and was going to unlick ODD SHAPES ON THE HORIZON next.

Unfortunately the game seems to be a bit buggy, as LET MY PEOPLE GO is in my mission list, the games still has it as unselected in the gift tab.

ODD SHAPES ON THE HORIZON is not in my mission list and is not available to unlock in the gift tab.

How do i now unlock ODD SHAPES ON THE HORIZON?

It's one thing that separate alliances can start the same armada without getting prompted still but this should not be possible under any circumstances...

On Discovery, it looks like non of the Borg Crews is working. 5of10 us suddently useless and my ship blows up on far weaker hostiles and 10of10 is not increasing the mining rate at all

You can do a comparison run with and without 5of10 to see how the mitigation changes. I'm guessing it's working, but your ship is too weak still. PMT will probably do better, especially if you have a rank 3 Moreau.
And 10 does increase the mining rate, but it works on the mining laser bonus which on warships (like the discovery) is only 100% and so the bonus from 10 will only be small (base mining rate is 1250, so @ 80% on 100% mining laser = 1000/hour bonus). The ship ability is not an increase to the mining laser and so works like the faction miners and not the D'Vor @royal magnet

Anyone come across the ship in permanent warp bug? My ship is stuck and recall sort off moves the ship, but once it enters my home system, it stops and goes back to where it was earlier. The ship is not visible to anyone else from where "locate" is showing me, so I am guessing the ship is stuck in warp?

in case anyone else wants to avoid what i did, and how i got in to this situation....

i halted warp midway through travel, and when the recall tab was available, i hit recall.. but the recall tab opens up before the ship has actually completed warp and you get an error message of sorts, i get this all the time, and wait and then hit recall, but this time for some reason, i hit recall a couple of times in quick succession and that led to the ship getting stuck.. so when halting the ship mid warp, dont hit recall too soon or repeatedly.. it might have been the cause of my current ship stuck situation

@native oyster I'm assuming that you have cadet Scotty on board. Pike only actually works for abilities that activate during combat, despite the client showing an increased rate range from cadet Scotty.
Remove Pike as Captain as you'll see the real warp range.

Yes, and the systems you're listing are below warp 21 range.

Morska and the level 23 anomoly systems look to be all level 20 range. Shouldn't be an issue.

@native oyster just to clarify here: it's got nothing to do with rounding at all, this is suggested every now and then and is easily shown to be incorrect
Even if you have +5 cadet Scotty and 60% Pike boost (8 total range increase) you will be unable to travel to a system requiring +6 range. Pike shows as working on several officers, such as cadet Scotty and Stonn, but has no actual effect.

Stability has improved with recent updates, but the game will still occasionally shut down for now apparent reason. Also, PMs will randomly disappear from the message list.

Chat histories appear to be in tact (I believe) when the chat is continued, but you must remember everyone you were chatting with in order to look up the recipient and continue the conversation.

Seems like massively shoddy coding to me. Why calculate everything twice?

On the few times that they have pushed it to the server directly it's added noticeable delay in just showing a number, I'm also not convinced they even understand the coding (I'm guessing this isn't the original dev team, they struggle to implement what should be basic formulas in client to match server settings).
With Pike though he only actually works on abilities that activate during combat, and you'll get twice the stated benefit. You'll find similar issues with Cadet Scotty, I think T'Pring, and I believe the Borg stat boosts.

@keen surge Hmm yea I noticed that only in combat abilities seem to work properly. The server client split indeed makes sense as a cause/reason. Didn't think of that as I only develop local applications. Nothing with extensive client/server split. Still very weird though that these calculations are not from a shared code.
I would also suspect that no original devs are left. The way that constantly bugs pop up or re-emerge on almost every patch gives that impression.

@plucky echo it is because of pure research bug. They fixed it partially during last patch. Restart the game or change the dock of the ship or just go back and come back to upgrade screen,should get you the reduced cost version back. They are still working to fix it fully

No notification, nothing. And if I can even get through 15 systems before my game freezes, because apparently now total game freezing is a thing?!?

- Commanders will see a single Galactic Exploration that corresponds to all 15 new Anomaly systems (15 total Galactic Exploration events). 
- For each Galactic Exploration event, players are required to complete 1 quick activity. Either destroy 1 hostile or mine 1 Mycelium to complete the only milestone for that event.

I completed all the 15 GalExp MS with 2 or 3 minutes left, I still saw the markers in Galaxy view for all the 15 system.

Then I went to collect all the GalExp rewards one after the other, as opening a WINNER page consumes 30 seconds for me, and woukd have fatally delayed my event.

After I collected all 15, I found out I had been credited only 3 points in the Gone Before Event!!!!!

So it's FALSE that you just have to complete a GalExp milestone!
You also havecto COLLECT IT, before the Gone Before Event expires!!!!

Oh, well, rewards aren't a game changer, and Scopely only purpose was to make us spend all our Cultivated, for very little as reward.

And they also DECEIVE us about the event mechanics

So... the bugs I encountered in this event were the following:

• Discovery doesn't show upon entry to a system, no idea where it is, so I cannot target nearest empty mine or hostile
• combat does not show engaging
• mining doesn't start, no change in node content or in storage capacity of ship
  if you move despite that and try, a felt eternity later you see you apparently made a milestone. having wasted precious time that makes it impossible to reach a decent reward tier

What is sad is the lack of acknowledgement from scopely that the event got screwed up. Points were not received so you have to do it over. Sorry for the inconvenience. Nothing. Us-009sol server king ms mining event went gone. Well, mining. Had just over 10k loaded of mycelium. then the black alert finished up grabbed the winnings. Then check the events kings were gone. Send my miners to gas node they become filled fora short time was attacked. Then the rules of acquisition mining event displayed my count for that event. check the events and the king's mining event come back as zero. So I went back mining Mycelium and started getting points and awards. Then did a clear cash win on points. Then send my miner to my base and back to a node and get a winner icon with this image.

Anyway the kings event working and close to the end with my two miner ships.

As it stands you want to level ip officers you need fraction credits you have to buy. You want faction ship bps you need faction credits again you have buy as the game is not designed to pay out faction credits in large quantities (armada pulls dont pay that much in ship bps or faction credits) buying by paying players will always be there. If the refinery worked would make mining materials more meaningful. Make ship building more meaningful as well. Would I buy different faction ship bps to have more choice of ships to choose from if the refinery worked? Yes. Most people would. You dont get many faction level ship drops in game let alone a rare or epic drop. So yes people will buy ship bps

The Stella bug was already reported to the support yesterday at 13.34. Then it took about 10 hours until scopely reacted. This delay made the damage and the effects in the game even worse.

@fading frost again assuming here, but I'd say that Scopely have a crude code to check for accounts that need to be reviewed as a part of this, false positives will unfortunately happen. The bans are so that they can further scrutinise these accounts and correct as required, I'd keep checking periodically.

@jolly lodge Thanks. Just tried the Vidar on this 13.5M level 31 base. Takes ~50 min to repair. My sally which has half the cargo space is about 4-10min depending on crits. Only 829.5M in rss to go... Sigh

In combat training the enemy fighter powers up to full strength straight after the attack same on lost in translation the swarm ships regenerate with in a second . I have attracted with 3 ships one after the other not a chance of winning

Bases are repairing to fast when trying to raid that when you crack a base wide open and attack with a miner straight away the miner is destroyed

Alliance chat is still broken also, messages just stop coming through it looks like no one is chatting until after restarting the game you realise you missed a ton of messages, I'm using iOS 14 on iPhone 6S

I was watching my ore node for an attacker, all of sudden my ship is in battle and then the enemy, player’s ship appears. Ships seem to not be rendering on screen all of the time. I’ve ghost ships on nodes and then their ship icon suddenly appears. This was all with good connection.

I attack a player ship front on. The player has Pan with synergy, somehow both ships do not engage in battle....
Is this supposed to happen or should the ships engage in battle?

Game is broken again 😦 You can crack bases 100 times with a warship but the second you try to hit with a survey it goes boom. Player is not on and repairing. We even did some testing among friendly alliance with a player who was on, but intentionally did not repair for testing purposes. Their base continually jumped to exactly the same hull health after every hit. An interesting thing to note as well is that the battle reports always showed a little bit of sheild health left on the base even though it was defeated. This is a major(if not the main) point of the game for most players. I sincerely hope they have it fixed very soon.

there's nothing moderators or content creators can do to fix this for you, you need to go through customer support, most likely won't be resolved by the time the event finishes but you might get the rewards credited to your account

Guys, indeed, the station bug where it auto repairs is making base raiding undoable......please treat it as seriously as you treat a broken store, as this is a key game mechanic, and right now it’s only possible with a warship for impacted bases

Depends on the type of bug. If it just effects the players then its put on the back burner. If it effects Scopely then they take the game down immediately

Let me rephrase it for you. If it effect the players in a positive manner (i.e. Stella or refining bug) its EMERGANCY MAINTENANCE, but if it negatively impacts the players, well screw them.

Lets not forget that they punish the players who took advantage because we need to make it fair for everyone but do nothing for the players impacted by the negative bugs

I’d like to report a bug.

This morning, I did a 4 batch Crystal refine (3 batch + the $99 “Prime Crystal”) and I actually received 7 whole uncommon crystal. This is obviously a bug because the refineries are only meant to pay out common refined crystal.

I recommend you shut down all servers immediately and drain all players who have unscrupulously benefited from this bug.
