What does keenser's ability actually do? If you look at the officer screen, it says something about boosting shields while at your station. If you look at him in a battle report detail, or when scanning someone else's ship, it says he boosts impulse speed.
The difference between those may be nuanced, but it's important to some of us!

Let me see if I got this right. Shiny new discovery was supposed to be key to winning this event - increased points and instant warp. So myself and others spend a ridiculous amount of money to get pixels a few days before others. Because games like this, early progression and time gives advantages. And now the event is postponed and ship sits there as paperweight collecting dust. Meanwhile, any advantage of time in forking out for discovery slips away... While we wait for compensation still... It should have been done much earlier. The whole reason for early purchase seems lost if you wait much longer. A real shame and a real con. The community expects much better and this is a huge let down on delivery.

@pine cargo it is instanteneous to the edge of the system, if you selected a point within they system far away from the entry point it will add the impulse time to that timer.

This bug where the screen just goes to a background and the program freezes when you sometimes click on Events was not fixed. It has happened 3 times this morning.

I noticed this because if the return of the crashing every 20 minutes or so. When your game crashes, if there is a ship in warp, the game loses track of the ships’s location. The warp time remains the same, but using the locate option available when you select a ship takes you to the start system of the trip. Everything else, including the stop option, works the same.

The game is very unstable today. Every few minutes it drops out and says there is a bad connection. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection and I sat less than 2 metres from my router. Three ships lost already in an hour because it keeps dropping out or the scanning symbol comes up and locks up the game. Please sort this out, it been like this for months.

I know there issue with the current anomaly event in that the events don't update to show the event when it happens. I wanted to report I have had this issue for at least 2 months where any event update never gets pushed to me. I always have to exit the game and restart to see new events. This is on Android 10, running on my phone, Samsung tablet or playing it emulated in Windows via BlueStacks. I have cleared the cache with no change in event pushes. TY

So people have been seen to be cloaked temporarily whilst in gauntlet warp token area, i could see other members but not the person who attacked me. i saw them briefly as they entered for half a second but they then disappeared completely.... @tacit locust is that the discovery? You'll probably find that the bonus is being applied on your base mining speed, which would make sense given the ship ability is listed as increase to harvesting speed (so more in line with standard mining ships where 10 doesn't include the ship ability).

@glossy dust I actually watched with great interest this video until the end. As much as I want to criticise scopely for doing a crappy job, oh maan, the explanations from the video do not bring absolute any value. I honestly did not expected this from a content creator. I suppose this is the reason scopely still makes money. Because people have a problem reading, documenting and correlating, thus expecting for someone to explain to them like to a 4 year child.
- Yes, scopely is minus infinite lazy and incompetent in creating documentation.
- Having point 1 said, some glimpse of information about 18k max capacity cultivated mycelium is being presented by scopely.
- The refinery screen from is not complete. The whole discovery arc is not complete, people, get that! ASK scopely for DOCUMENTATION.
- The max capacity from screen on point 4 suggests clearly in association to point number 2, that refinery would be active again once the 18k threshold is reached down.
- Yes, as expected, refinery cool-down is present and I don't remember scopely mentioning this.. again people ... ASK for documentation.
I honestly do not think we have here a functional bug, but incomplete delivery. Also video is, in my opinion a waste of time and effort. 3 lines of text are suffice. These kind of video are the reason scopely and CS think that users are ... well... what they are .. milking cows.

Hi team, at level 25, Context is for Kings appears to be using a reward matrix for a lower level group. Rewards are oriented to lower level players (2⭐ parts) and the amount provided seems inconsistent with the level of grind necessary to unlock.

This has been happening on random armadas viewing the logs freezes up the client and have to restart. Still unable to view the logs or click on anything after restart. Not able to determine if it's because of a crew or ship that is involved or what.

I did fill my cargo and got hit by PvP. I should have 13k left as of the safety OP limit and bring that home when i get blown up, but my inventory shows still the amount i had before. I lost 13k! I had also similar issues for armadas, that i did either not receive the loot in the cargo or the loot was not added to my inventory

Meanwhile, This current client build does seem to have a 'freeze' bug in it. Hard to replicate how to get it, other than on occasion, have noticed on Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, game running for a period of time (5+ hours) the interface completely freezes.
No rhyme or reason. Just literally cannot tap on anything within the game and nothing is happening screen wise (literally no animations). Requires a complete quit out of the game and restart in order to do anything.
Again, hard to replicate what makes it freeze like that. I have seen it happen at least 2 times now, one time just sitting in a system then noticed none of the timers moving or ships and apparently, no UI interaction. Another time was just changing the ship crew, then couldn't do anything, stuck at the crew screen.
Previous build, there was something similar where I noticed when I was trying to go to anything, like a system screen or a loot where the client would give me a blank screen, with no means of interaction, would have to quit out of the game completely and restart.

Spock regenerates shield health every round that the ship has morale (on mine, it's 750% of the crew's defense, which is 7058, so 52,935 restored per round)

I'm sure he has a high defense crew on the lower decks, and Kirk and Spock both have really high defense stats, so it's just more likely that he regenerated a little more than you drained each round. You were still doing shield damage with your attacks, hence the red section on the bar.

That station attack was likely when the shield was down, and when the guy logged in and saw an 8-minute shield, that was likely the 10-minute auto-shield that triggers after your station is attacked.

Stop them spawning? No. There is several ways around it though
Send a secondary ship, there is a warp “trick” where if two of your ships enter the system within like 5 seconds of each other only one hunter spawns
So if you goto the augment system you want in system view and check your warp timers to the edge of the system where you will enter you can send two in (usually miner and war ship) with the warship arriving first by a few seconds
Then you recall it and the miner is free and nothing spawns
If you mess it up, you can suicide your warship into the hunter that targets your miner

<@&509690795536941056> It seems they have broken the Stella with the discovery patch. I’m not the only one who’s thought that when soloing exchange armadas, we take either a lot more damage or get destroyed when we used to win. To me looking through this, it looks like they have broken the Stella shield. Either in amount of shield or the fact no research works on it any more. To keep being able to solo you need to use a Spock build.
If you compare the shield value vs hull value, stellas shield is much less than any other ships in the game. Trawling back throug an old @nimble meteor youtube video which showed him making the Stella, the L1 values displayed were 59k for shield and 84k for hull health. Now, my Stella (with all 300% bonus ) at L35 shows a shield value of 142k vs 422k for hull health. This is a huge change in the ratio and makes the Stella much less powerful in combat due to the shield being knocked down so quickly. I’m sure it never used to be like this.
Run some tests vs L31 uncommon exchange armada, shield goes around round 9, in a 23 round fight and Stella loses, vs Spock build, shield stays up, loses 25% hull, and Stella wins in 33 round fight.
So, seems to me they have totally booked the stellas shield now and it seemed to come in with the discovery patch

My issue is not with Spock, it’s with the fact the stella shield seems much less effective now. Ie. I was never having to use Spock before at all so whether he worked or not didn’t matter.

Is this a BUG? 🐞 I put captain Pike to boost Stonn ability (increases the cargo size + boost that) when I do a base raid. It will increase mathematically, but my cargo doesn't full. It will remain the original cargo size without Pike boost. (yes of course, the base has a lots of rrs)

They fixed Moreau so that her ability is now correctly tied to her rank (previous static 80% when running Pike and Moreau). This means rank 1 Moreau with PMC is only giving 66% reduction, if you're able to promote her to rank 2 it should give comparable results to before (88%).

Hello! I want to report an error in the game, in which players on 22 warp can extract resources in systems with 40 warp. Probably everyone knows about this error. When placing the base in the Wolf system, you can mine latinums in the Bernard Star system using ships with 22 warp. I think that for players with a reputation for hatred in the federation it brings an imbalance in the game. Please fix this error, or add systems from romulans and Klingons with the same capability.

Well that sucks , in other games I've played, you couldn't attack anyone 4lv's below your own. This stopped someone with over 1m more attack points from bullying newer players.

I have looked all over for information on this bug but cant find anything. I can join an armada, even be the strongest ship, but if too many ships are in the circle when the fight starts i get bumped out of the armada, only exception is if I'm starred or armada leader, it happens every time. They have changed the date and times
but it does depend on the time zone, the EU & US happened in their Timezones on the 14th, the APAC happened on the 15th. (in New Zealand, the EU timezone for My Server happened at 3:30AM 15th New Zealand time)
so dates can often be confusing for different timezones.

@worthy juniper not a who, but where. As you level up your ships you unlock slots below deck, but if you swap ships the officers will stay in these slots even though they're not available to use on that ship.
If you have officers in these locked slots it can artificially raise your power during combat and when other players look at your ship, though the bonuses are a lie.

I believe thats an issue with the r&d bonus. Usually it was applied after you had the full amount, deducted it and then you had a huge anount of rss left.
It seems they are trying to give you the net value of the cost now upfront and there seems to be some display bug.

The way to know is as you have done, go into the upgrade you want, then back up to the ship view, then back into the upgrade, and it will show the correct lower amount, it’s something they are still working on, but at least it’s better then it was before where we couldn’t even see the discounted amount.
So you haven’t been screwed, you’ve only spend the correct amount of resources, the discounted amount, it’s just the phone client matching the server side information,

Two groups can join an armada at the same time, wasting directives of the group that joined a matter of seconds after the other. Normally I can't start an armada that another group has started. The armada button isn't active, I am locked out, which is all good. I can't tell what another group is doing. The screen is covered with the armada pop-up. Yes, I should get my directives back. The timing of the block of one of the groups is flawed, inadequate to prevent this. From a business perspective I can see this is favorable but it is a deception. Shame on the developers.

This all said, I just saw something strange. Sometimes when I go into the remaining phaser cannon to upgrade it shows a lower price.
Same as from the before screenshot of the cannon I upgraded. Other times the larger price.
Something here is wrong and confusing.

So we run the secound officer event of discovery and I got zero points by getting parts of pike, zero points for upgrade him or level up him...
Please fix that issue and give my points! Also in last officer event I got zero points for getting 19 parts of pike... Unbelievable that your support close the conversation tickets without real help. All is based on your description of officer event and I sended also Screenshots.

@near current 1 point is 1 milestone from the hourly event. so I read it as we only need to complete 5 milestones from the hourly to complete this one. I see you are reading it differently. 15 points means a min of 5 maxed out hourly events. which is not a realistic goal for an event. based on lag and other factors, you might need to play hourly all day to have it completed.

Strengthen your station event is bugged. I was lvl 36 20 minutes ago and decided to finish upgrading ops to 37. As event was laid out for lvl 36, I should get 230k points and achieve first milestone on the event. Upgrading ops to 37 gave me 230k points but also changed the event targets into milestones for lvl 37, thus moving the goalpost and giving me no awards.

Also, another bug. When using discovery black alert, some times it does the black alert and as soon as you are in the system the warp timer pops up and the ship shows it is warping through the galaxy which is only fixed by reloading the game

My app is up to date, but still having issues with the event once I am in the event space. Clicked attack three times on a red, each time ship flies to it and stops, then someone else flew over to me and got the kill. No connection error. When I am finally able to attack ship is spending too long on the attack.
Another issue is amount of enemies in each space, the new ship pretty much sucks and everyone using it can only get to the lower systems so there are way too many people for the amount of reds.

the screenshots don't really help much to be honest.. but if you should have earned points it's really only customer support that can help you with it unfortunately. One of the mods here might be able to help you in dealing with customer support, but only customer support has the power to actually effect your game unfortunately.

Another bug in Scopely mathematics... I was level 33 and to tier 1 reward I needed 67k points. So I did upgrade the ops level, used the accelerators and after completing the upgrade I found that I do not have a reward, but the number of points for tier 1 reward increased to 100k. So you deprived me of my reward!!! In game support is incompetent, as usual... bla bla bla.

I think it has already been reported, but ships strength is wrong in the armada summary, and total armada power too as a consequence. Single ship's strength get fixed if actively checked.

When I use Nox Player in "Basic Mode (DirectX)", it crashes every time I try to click from the "OFFICERS View officer info and upgrades here" officer list to the "OFFICERS" specific officer view screen. Sure, Nox Player shouldn't crash when STFC sends it whatever it's sending in the specific officer view screen. But it seems likely that STFC is sending Nox Player some kind of malformed system call.
The work-around is to switch Nox Player to "Enhanced compatibility mode(OpenGL+)". But that's not much help, because lots of on-screen text disappears:

Can someone explain this to me. The other day i took a SS of my Galdius Shield update cost for someone. Well when i looked today i notice it has gone UP, yes i said UP.

@cerulean saffron Scopely can't translate, the text descriptions are incorrect. You can switch to English to check or judge the event based on the image, but there will be one for each faction.
@humble sentinel you need to contact customer support in game, no one here can fix your issue. Provide them with your ship, crew and dock.

@winter valley Scopely have tried to introduce the cost reduction research showing in game again, though excluding some of them, and like last time it is only displaying intermittently. The higher cost will be the base cost, lower will be with the reduction research.

I didn't @ you 😋 with yours, it's an old issue and is being well reported again. It's possible that Scopely will address if there are enough complaints, but given that this is not a unique issue I'm not personally hopeful. Right now, all you can do is complain reasonably and hope enough noise is made by enough people that the powers that be decide to do something about it..

Sooooooo am i misjudging this or has someone serious fked up, The event gives u cultivated mycelium but if u do too well u get punished coz u cant refine it?! So do i stop doin events? Or do i stop mining and killing the new things tht u have introduced?! 🙈

@gilded holly did you make sure you were in one of the selected systems for that event. The event randomly selects a few systems and mining will only count if done in one of those systems.

Ye always check the systems prior to event starting n head to right systems, The complaint is about the refinery tab, Cant refine because ive already earnt too much through event rewards? 😳 Punished for pushing to complete events! 🙈

I'm not sure that's a punishment, it's just more refined mycelium? Better to finish the milestone events and earn the stuff for the other refinery option.

The first refinery is for refined mycelium as order stated. Scopely gave you more than a full load already. If u use enough you will be able to start refining more.

Please notice i have two differnt tabs for a new world a violent world event. Please note the different names of missions. Please note both show unfinished. I believe i finished them but didnt get the payout from the final mission when maia starts speaking through the ancient tech. Any help would be appreciated.

@bleak sedge pretty much, yeah. The odds don't change by getting more chests, only the number of rolls that you get (2 per chest). The odds will always suck and you will get 4 chests with only commons still, but statistically speaking over time you will get more uncommon and rare by opening more at a time; it's just awful value and not noticeable unless you're actively tracking outcomes for comparison over months. The real problem is that we don't know what the odds of each outcome actually are, just the they're bad (and this is after they improved it 😬).

All events work on the basis that a player is required to lock in before increasing OPS, otherwise their bracket might change. This is a technical limitation that'd require quite the time investment to resolve. I agree that compensation for these edge-cases should be provided but I fear we can't do much in that department.

Event countdown only works for useless eventd like ship upgrade, but NOT for anomaly on my ipad pro 12,9“ with ipados 14! Android users have event refreshs (all of them) 2-3 minutes earlier than Apple users. They also pay 10-15 bucks less for packs. This is completly unfair! Please don‘t only support Android! We Apple users want a chance to do the events too! I can‘t get a mine because i see the events 3 minutes later than Android users. Wasnt able to get all points in the solo event. I hope Apple users will get a compensation for this. If can‘t do the countdown on all platforms, than don‘t do them at all!

I progressed far enough i the BATTLE pass to unlock both missions, that being ODD SHAPES ON THE HORIZON as well as LET MY PEOPLE GO.
I chose to first click to accept LET MY PEOPLE GO and was going to unlick ODD SHAPES ON THE HORIZON next.
Unfortunately the game seems to be a bit buggy, as LET MY PEOPLE GO is in my mission list, the games still has it as unselected in the gift tab.
ODD SHAPES ON THE HORIZON is not in my mission list and is not available to unlock in the gift tab.
How do i now unlock ODD SHAPES ON THE HORIZON?

@pulsar mist Since this is an issue affecting many many players I was hoping it could be escalated as a mass case. Perhaps CS could create a workflow to submit player IDs for daily true ups. Would reduce the CS workload, enable the resolution to be done in chunks. As well as give a better experience to the players.
Also some other suggestions (which I would be ineffective at getting through to the right people)
- Better linkage between live ops and dev/qa so that know bugs that affect events are flagged to live ops so they can avoid/mitigate them.
This issue, the event restart issue are just two recent examples that highlight that communication isn't in place.- Live ops could have set the points at a level that ensured the first milestone of the next level up would still complete.
It's clear they have tried to mitigate the bug by having uc/rare score points. But this is not effective since many players will go several days without spending, and you only know you needed to do it after you have been caught out and its too late. Perhaps instead they could use a different trigger to lock the event. Hostile kills is probably a good one.

A notice has been added to the event to communicate to players how they need to lock into their event.
Additionally, CS will be reimbursing people who can provide a screenshot of their event and how they missed the 'locking in' part.
Finally, future runs of this event will likely see an adjustment made as for how players will be locked in.
I will search on Discord and inform players who've contacted CS before to tell them they can open another ticket in a few minutes.

even the simplest things don‘t work! I am not in RU3,..-what‘s going on scopely?, can‘t you hire coders who can do their job? It‘s so annoying. Each and every update brings more errors and glitches, server side and client side. This is by far the worst quality managment i have ever seen in my life. Even Microsoft is doing better!

@ivory vortex can you address this^ in an announcement. Ludicrous to continue to allow players to spend mats, rss and speed ups (including those paid for with cash) in an event with shifting milestones where you may not even get any rewards!

Another bug in Scopely mathematics... I was level 33 and to tier 1 reward I needed 67k points. So I did upgrade the ops level, used the accelerators and after completing the upgrade I found that I do not have a reward, but the number of points for tier 1 reward increased to 100k. So you deprived me of my reward!!! In game support is incompetent, as usual... bla bla bla.

Regarding the Strengthen your Station event, please make a screenshot of your event screen showing how you scored points for increasing your Operations center but did not get the full milestone.
Then, please contact CS and send it to them. If you already have done so but were declined compensation, please open a new ticket and include the screenshot (again). They will be able to help you out this time around. 👍

Push messages are absolutely not reliable on iOS anymore. Often, I don’t get any (repaired ships, armada, empty nodes). Now, I get one when being attacked on a data node by bounty hunters. But often not on regular nodes by human players. Please fix this. I am doubtful whether I will get push messages for station attacks...
This used to work better before the updates (both stfc and iOS)
Also, when being attacked by a bounty hunter while being on a node, there is no loot from the bounty hunter that I receive.
